SOSIALISASI PENCEGAHAN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT DESA SUMBER MEKAR MUKTI

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) conducted in Sumber Mekar Mukti Village aimed to improve public health, education, environmental quality, and community empowerment through a series of structured and needs-based activities. The flagship program, a socialization on Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) prevention, focused on increasing community awareness regarding the dangers of DHF and its preventive measures through the implementation of the 3M Plus movement, visual-based education, and environmental sanitation activities. Additionally, supporting programs such as literacy enhancement, bullying prevention, social media education, physical exercise, village greening, community clean-up activities, and MSME mentoring strengthened community engagement and collective awareness of healthy living. The implementation of these programs resulted in increased community participation, positive behavioral changes toward a cleaner and healthier lifestyle, and effective collaboration between students and residents in creating a more productive, clean, and sustainable village environment
