PENGALAMAN MAHASISWA PPL DALAM PELAKSANAAN PEMBIASAAN POSITIF DI SDN KERTA BARAT

This study aims to describe the experiences of PPL (Teaching Practicum) students in implementing positive habituation activities at SDN Kerta Barat over a two-month period, from January 7 to March 7, 2026. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation and semi-structured interviews involving PPL students who were directly engaged in the implementation of positive habituation activities at the school. Data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and the trustworthiness of the data was ensured through technique triangulation. The findings indicate that SDN Kerta Barat consistently and systematically implemented six forms of positive habituation: welcoming students at the school gate, morning exercise, recitation of short Qur’anic chapters or Juz Amma, Friday activities consisting of Dhuha prayer, Yasin recitation, and communal meals, reading literacy activities using storybooks, as well as Friday and Ramadan charity or infaq programs. These six habituation practices were proven to provide comprehensive benefits for students’ character development, encompassing religious, disciplinary, social, emotional, and intellectual aspects. Through direct involvement and assistance in each habituation activity, PPL students gained valuable experiences that strengthened their understanding of character education based on school culture. This experience confirms that students’ character development cannot be achieved solely through classroom instruction, but must be fostered through consistent, holistic habituation practices involving all members of the school community. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other elementary schools in designing and implementing effective and sustainable positive habituation programs.

Field Experience Practice (PPL) is an important program in prospective teacher education which aims to provide real experience in the world of education. This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of PPL for PGRI University Sumenep students at SDIT Al-Wathoniyah. The method used is qualitative with a type of field research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of PPL is going well through classroom learning activities, the use of creative learning media, and involvement in school activities. The PPL program has a positive impact on increasing student activity and developing students' pedagogical, social and professional competencies.

Mathematics is an essential subject that plays an important role in developing students’ logical, systematic, critical, and creative thinking skills. However, in mathematics learning at the fourth grade of SDN Daramista II, several problems were found, such as low student interest in learning, limited participation in classroom activities, and the use of conventional teaching methods and media. These conditions have an impact on students’ low learning outcomes, particularly in the topic of rounding numbers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of gamification-based learning media using an Interactive Flat Panel to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were the fourth-grade teacher and fourth-grade students at SDN Daramista II. The results showed that the implementation of gamification-based learning media through the Interactive Flat Panel increased student engagement, motivation, and participation during the learning process. Interactive features such as touch screens, digital quizzes, and educational games made learning more interesting and student-centered. In addition, the use of this media helped students understand the concept of rounding numbers more easily through repeated practice presented in a game-based format. Therefore, gamification-based learning media using an Interactive Flat Panel can serve as an innovative alternative to improve the quality of mathematics learning and students’ learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kader Posyandu Jombang, Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan mengenai kewirausahaan sosial dan analisis laporan keuangan usaha mikro. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peran kader Posyandu sebagai penggerak kegiatan sosial masyarakat yang juga memiliki potensi untuk mengembangkan usaha mikro guna mendukung kesejahteraan keluarga dan komunitas. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah keterbatasan pemahaman dalam pengelolaan keuangan, pencatatan transaksi, penyusunan anggaran, serta analisis laporan keuangan sederhana. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui survei awal, sosialisasi, pelatihan, diskusi, tanya jawab, konsultasi, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, yaitu pada tanggal 10–12 Oktober 2025, dengan peserta sebanyak 20 orang kader Posyandu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengikuti program dengan antusias dan memperoleh tambahan pengetahuan mengenai kewirausahaan sosial, pentingnya pengelolaan usaha mikro, serta dasar-dasar laporan keuangan dan perencanaan anggaran. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam memperkuat kapasitas kader Posyandu tidak hanya dalam bidang sosial, tetapi juga dalam aspek ekonomi melalui pengelolaan usaha mikro yang lebih terarah, efektif, dan berkelanjutan.

This study aims to describe the implementation of best practice in planning and implementing learning by students of the Teaching Practice Program at Universitas PGRI Sumenep in SMK Negeri 1 Kalianget using a desciptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of seven PPL students, and the data were collected through observation, documentation, and reflection, then analyzed descriptvely. The results show that learning planning was systematically designed based on the Merdeka Curriculum and deep learning principles, while the implementation of learning was active and student-centered through the use of varied methodsand digital-based learning media. In practice, students faced severall challenges, including differences in student characteristics, classroom management, and limitationsin digital media. These challenges were addressed through adaptive strategies such as method variation, individual approaches, and continuousreflection. Therefore, the implementation of best practice in the PPL program contributes to improving pedagogical competence and the professional readiness of prospective teachers.

This study aims to describe the use of the interactive learning media Kahoot in increasing student engagement in mathematics learning in grade V at SDN Dungkek 1. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and literature study. The results show that the use of Kahoot can make the learning process more interesting and enjoyable so that students become more active in participating in learning activities. Before using Kahoot, the learning process mostly used the lecture method, which made students less enthusiastic. After Kahoot was implemented, students became more focused and interested in answering the quiz questions. In addition, Kahoot also helps teachers deliver learning materials and conduct evaluations more easily. Overall, the use of Kahoot has a positive impact on increasing student engagement in mathematics learning at the elementary school level.

PENGGUNAAN MEDIA RODA BACA PUTAR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA AWAL SISWA KELAS 1 SDN BATUPUTIH LAOK II

This research is motivated by the low level of early reading skills among several first-grade students at SDN Batuputih Laok II, where students still face difficulties in recognizing alphabet letters, frequently switch them, and some do not recognize letters at all. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of the "Roda Baca Putar" (Spinning Reading Wheel) media in improving the early reading skills of first-grade students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results indicate that the use of the spinning reading wheel media provides a significant positive impact. Through the activities of spinning the wheel and arranging letters, students become more active, enthusiastic, and do not feel bored during the learning process. Improvements in ability are evident in the students' success in recognizing the alphabet and their emerging ability to combine letters into syllables and simple words. The conclusion of this study is that the spinning reading wheel media is an effective solution for creating a conducive learning atmosphere and increasing the basic literacy skills of lower-grade students.

This community service activity aims to improve the quality of the implementation of the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program through direct mentoring and counseling by lecturers in Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency. The background of this activity is based on the persistence of several challenges in KKN implementation, including suboptimal program planning, limited student capacity in identifying community needs, and the lack of effective monitoring and supervision in the field. The implementation method employed an intensive mentoring and continuous counseling approach conducted directly by lecturers to students throughout the program. The stages included preparation, implementation of mentoring and counseling, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate an improvement in students’ ability to design community-based programs, implement activities systematically, and solve field-related problems adaptively. Mentoring also contributed to increased community participation and enhanced social interaction between students and the community. Overall, this activity demonstrates that the active role of lecturers in mentoring KKN significantly enhances the effectiveness of community service programs and strengthens the role of higher education institutions in sustainable community empowerment

This study aims to describe instructional strategies, identify challenges, and analyze the pedagogical reflections of PGSD students during the implementation of Field Teaching Practice (PPL) in upper-grade elementary school classes. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The data were obtained from students’ teaching experience reports in grades 4, 5, and 6. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with source triangulation to ensure data validity. The results show that the instructional strategies applied include group discussions, problem-based learning, contextual teaching, as well as the use of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based worksheets and interactive media. The challenges faced include differences in students’ critical thinking abilities, classroom management dynamics, and fluctuating learning motivation. The pedagogical reflections indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of the importance of adaptive, creative, and student-centered learning. This study confirms that PPL in upper-grade classes plays an important role in developing the pedagogical and professional competencies of prospective elementary school teachers.

This study aims to examine the implementation of opening and closing activities and their contribution to the development of Graduate Profile dimensions at Fatimah International Elementary School. A descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires administered to teachers and students. The findings reveal that the systematic and sustained implementation of these activities receives highly positive responses and significantly contributes to enhancing students’ learning readiness, discipline, and character formation. Furthermore, these practices support the development of key Graduate Profile dimensions, including citizenship, collaboration, communication, independence, creativity, critical thinking, and religiosity. These findings underscore the strategic role of integrated habituation practices within instructional activities in fostering holistic character education.

Twenty-first century learning requires the development of students’ critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills at the elementary school level. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum initiated by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi encourages student-centered learning and emphasizes meaningful and in-depth conceptual understanding. This study aims to describe the implementation of deep learning as a strategy for developing student competencies at SDN Pangarangan 1 and to analyze its impact on improving conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and collaborative abilities. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The research subjects consisted of two classroom teachers and 48 fourth- and fifth-grade students. The findings indicate that the implementation of deep learning improved students’ conceptual understanding, as evidenced by 78% of students being able to explain the material in their own words and relate it to real-life contexts. Additionally, 72% of students demonstrated increased active participation in group discussions and improved critical thinking skills in responding to reflective questions. However, several challenges were identified, including limited instructional time and variations in students’ academic abilities. Overall, deep learning proved to be an effective strategy for developing elementary students’ competencies and is highly relevant to the objectives of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Sustainable agriculture is an approach aimed at increasing agricultural productivity while maintaining environmental sustainability and improving farmers’ welfare. One of the major challenges in modern agriculture is the excessive reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, which can lead to soil degradation, environmental pollution, and pest resistance. Therefore, the use of organic fertilizers and botanical pesticides has been increasingly promoted as environmentally friendly alternatives. Organic fertilizers, derived from decomposed organic materials such as animal manure and plant residues, play a significant role in improving soil structure, enhancing microbial activity, and increasing the soil’s capacity to retain water and nutrients. Meanwhile, botanical pesticides, obtained from plant-based materials containing bioactive compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins, function as contact poisons, stomach poisons, repellents, and antifeedants against pests. The integration of organic fertilizers and botanical pesticides supports sustainable agricultural systems by reducing environmental impacts and promoting ecological balance. In addition, the utilization of locally available resources contributes to cost efficiency and enhances farmers’ independence. However, the adoption of these technologies remains relatively low due to limited knowledge and technical skills among farmers. Therefore, educational efforts through socialization and demonstration activities are essential to improve farmers’ understanding and implementation of environmentally friendly agricultural practices. In conclusion, the integration of organic fertilizers and botanical pesticides represents a strategic approach to achieving sustainable agriculture by improving soil fertility, controlling pests effectively, and preserving environmental health.

The development of information and communication technology has brought changes to the learning process in elementary schools, one of which is through the use of digital media. The use of technology-based learning media can be a means to support the implementation of digital literacy while increasing student learning engagement. This study aims to describe the implementation of Kahoot!-based digital literacy and its impact on student learning engagement at SDN Pangarangan V. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the principal, teachers, and students in grades III, IV, V, and VI, while secondary data came from supporting documents and relevant scientific articles. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the implementation of Kahoot!-based digital literacy was carried out through the stages of media introduction, learning implementation, and evaluation. The use of Kahoot! made the learning process more interesting, interactive, and enjoyable, enabling students to be more active in answering questions, discussing, and engaging in learning activities. Furthermore, the use of this media also helps students become familiar with and utilize digital technology as a learning tool. Despite several obstacles, such as limited devices and unstable internet connections, the implementation of Kahoot! still has a positive impact on increasing student learning engagement.

Waste cooking oil is a common household waste that is often improperly disposed of, leading to environmental pollution and potential health risks. The increasing consumption of cooking oil contributes to the growing volume of waste oil, while public awareness regarding proper management remains limited. Improper disposal practices, such as pouring waste oil into drainage systems or soil, can degrade water quality, disrupt aquatic ecosystems, and increase pollution indicators such as Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). This study aimed to improve community knowledge and skills in managing waste cooking oil through environmentally friendly soap-making training. The program was conducted by students of the Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Sebelas Maret through counseling and hands-on training for members of the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) in Jatiroyo Village. A participatory and practice-based approach (learning by doing) was applied, incorporating zero waste principles (reduce, reuse, recycle). The program involved 45 participants and included stages such as environmental education, demonstration, and direct practice of soap production. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of environmental and health impacts, with approximately 90% of participants able to independently produce soap after the training. The program also increased environmental awareness and practical skills, showing strong potential as a sustainable waste management solution and an opportunity for community-based economic empowerment..

This study aims to analyze the implementation of active learning strategies in improving student activeness at SDN Gapura Barat 1. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed with 19 third-grade students as participants. Data were collected through prolonged observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data trustworthiness was ensured through triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and thematic coding. The findings reveal that active learning strategies enhance student participation, confidence, and interaction. Thematic analysis indicates four key dimensions of change: behavioral engagement, cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, and social interaction. The study concludes that active learning fosters a student-centered and meaningful learning environment in elementary classrooms.

Scientific writing is an essential competency that must be mastered by university students, particularly in managing citations and references in accordance with academic standards. However, many students still face difficulties in producing consistent and accurate citations due to limited understanding and lack of utilization of supporting technologies. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Management students at Universitas Negeri Makassar (Class of 2023) in using Mendeley as a reference management tool. The training was conducted online via Zoom using lecture, demonstration, and hands-on training methods. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ understanding of citation concepts and reference management, as well as their practical ability to use Mendeley for automatic citation and bibliography generation. Furthermore, the interactive online training approach proved to be effective in enhancing participant engagement and learning outcomes. This activity contributes to improving students’ academic literacy and supports the development of higher-quality scientific writing in accordance with academic standards.

Permasalahan sampah masih menjadi isu utama di berbagai kampung perkotaan, termasuk di Kampung Karangpilang Gg. Glatik, Surabaya. Pembuangan sampah yang tidak terjadwal sering menyebabkan penumpukan di pinggir jalan dan selokan, sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan serta berpotensi mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya kesadaran warga, keterbatasan sarana, serta belum adanya sistem pengelolaan yang terorganisir secara konsisten. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan masyarakat dalam tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Program dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi, penetapan jadwal pembuangan, pemilahan sampah, pengangkutan ke tempat pembuangan akhir, serta kegiatan kerja bakti dan monitoring rutin. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kedisiplinan masyarakat, berkurangnya sampah berceceran, serta meningkatnya partisipasi warga dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Dengan demikian, penerapan sistem pembuangan sampah terjadwal terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan kampung yang bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan.

Penyuluhan dan Inovasi Sanitasi Lingkungan untuk Pencegahan Salmonellosis pada Pekerja Peternakan Ayam Indi Telur

This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge of poultry farm workers regarding salmonellosis through health education and sanitation innovation. The activity was conducted at an Indi Telur poultry farm in Tasikmalaya involving 30 workers. The method used was Communication, Information, and Education (CIE) through lectures supported by poster media and the implementation of a sanitation corner. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure participants’ knowledge levels. The results showed that 23 participants (76.7%) experienced an increase in knowledge, while 7 participants (23.3%) had unchanged scores, with no decrease observed. Statistical analysis using the paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (t = -10.933; p-value = 0.001). These findings indicate that the educational intervention was effective in improving participants’ understanding of salmonellosis. The integration of lecture methods with visual media and practical sanitation facilities can serve as an effective strategy in promoting occupational health behavior among poultry farm workers.

This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of retired customers at PT Bank Mandiri Taspen Kendari Branch through educational socialization and direct mentoring related to digital banking services. The main problem identified was the limited digital understanding and skills of retired customers in using banking applications such as ANDAL by Taspen, ASABRI, and MOVIN, resulting in most customers still depending on face-to-face services. The methods used included educational socialization and direct practical mentoring conducted over three months at PT Bank Mandiri Taspen Kendari Branch within the framework of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. The results showed an improvement in the understanding and confidence of retired customers in using digital banking services. Retired customers who previously relied entirely on face-to-face services began to demonstrate ability and independence in operating digital banking applications. The synergy between technology, data, and services realized through the Business Support role proved effective in supporting the optimization of digital services for retired customers. This activity makes a real contribution to improving the quality of banking services and strengthening the digital literacy of elderly groups in the banking environment.

Sektor informal seperti industri pengrajin cobek kayu di Kecamatan Tamansari, Kota Tasikmalaya, memiliki risiko kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja yang tinggi, terutama dari paparan debu kayu dan bahaya mekanis peralatan. Namun, hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesadaran dan kepatuhan pekerja dalam menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) masih sangat rendah akibat minimnya pengetahuan terkait Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran pekerja mengenai pentingnya penggunaan APD melalui pendekatan Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukasi (KIE). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemberian sosialisasi dengan metode ceramah menggunakan bantuan media visual berupa poster, serta penempelan poster di area kerja. Evaluasi kegiatan diukur menggunakan desain one-group pre-test post-test yang diberikan kepada 20 orang pekerja. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test memperoleh nilai p-value sebesar 0,031 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dan peningkatan pengetahuan secara signifikan pada pekerja setelah diberikan edukasi. Kesimpulannya, intervensi edukasi K3 menggunakan media poster terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman pekerja cobek kayu terkait pentingnya APD, yang diharapkan dapat menekan angka risiko kecelakaan kerja pada sektor informal.

Organic waste generated from household activities such as food scraps, vegetables, and fruit peels contributes significantly to the increasing volume of municipal waste. Improper management of organic waste can cause environmental problems including unpleasant odors, greenhouse gas emissions, and increased pressure on landfill sites. Therefore, simple and sustainable waste management methods are needed at the household level. This study aims to introduce and evaluate the use of a stacked bucket composter as a practical solution for processing household organic waste. The method used in this study involves the design and implementation of a stacked bucket composting system consisting of several plastic buckets arranged vertically, where the upper bucket functions as the main composting chamber and the lower bucket collects the liquid produced during decomposition. Organic waste is added regularly and supported by natural decomposing agents to accelerate the composting process. The findings show that the stacked bucket composter can effectively reduce household organic waste while producing solid compost and liquid organic fertilizer that can be utilized for plant growth. The system is relatively inexpensive, easy to construct, and suitable for limited residential spaces. The implication of this study indicates that the adoption of stacked bucket composters can encourage community participation in sustainable waste management and contribute to environmental conservation by reducing the amount of organic waste disposed of in landfills.

Household financial management is a crucial aspect in maintaining family economic stability; however, the level of financial literacy among the community, particularly housewives, remains relatively low. This condition leads to inadequate financial planning, lack of transaction recording, and low saving behavior. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of housewives in managing household finances through simple and practical financial literacy practices in Tamallayang Village, Bontonompo District. The methods used include counseling, interactive discussions, budgeting practice, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The activity involved 20 participants from the local community. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, with the “good” category increasing from 25% to 85% after the training. This demonstrates that contextual and practice-based learning methods are effective in enhancing financial literacy. Therefore, this program successfully encourages more disciplined and planned financial behavior, contributing to improved family welfare. It is recommended that similar programs be implemented sustainably and expanded to achieve a broader impact.

PELATIHAN MICROSOFT WORD PADA SISWA SISWI SMP NEGERI 1 KEDUNGBANTENG

The fast advancement of information technology demands that students develop digital literacy skills, including proficiency in using word processing software such as Microsoft Word. However, in practice, many students have not yet fully mastered its use, especially in terms of proper document formatting. This study is intended to assess the effectiveness of Microsoft Word training in enhancing students’ competencies at SMP Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation and questionnaires. The training was implemented using a hands-on method, enabling students to engage actively and gain practical experience. The findings indicate that the training produced a highly positive outcome, with all participants (100%) reporting an understanding of the material. Furthermore, 59.1% of students agreed and 40.9% strongly agreed that the material was easy to follow and useful. There was also a noticeable improvement in students’ technical skills in document preparation, including margin settings, text formatting, and table insertion. Additionally, the training boosted students’ confidence and motivation to learn technology. In conclusion, hands-on Microsoft Word training is proven to be effective in enhancing students’ fundamental skills and digital literacy. The results also emphasize the importance of implementing continuous practice-based training to support learning in the digital age.

Village youth organizations (Karang Taruna) have traditionally functioned as activity implementers in village governance, with limited participation in data management and evidence-based decision-making. This community service program aimed to reposition Karang Taruna members as community-based data managers by strengthening their statistical and digital literacy capacities. Using a participatory capacity-building approach with 25 Karang Taruna members in Barru Regency, South Sulawesi, the program integrated hands-on training in basic descriptive statistics and cloud-based digital tools. Evaluation results indicate that 80% of participants were able to calculate activity participation rates using spreadsheets, while 72% successfully designed digital survey instruments using Google Form. Analysis of organizational behavior change reveals a significant shift from passive program execution toward active data stewardship and evidence-based program evaluation. The findings demonstrate that integrating statistical and digital literacy within youth organizations substantially strengthens youth civic engagement, promotes community data empowerment, and positions Karang Taruna as strategic digital inclusion agents within the village governance ecosystem. This repositioning enables youth to bridge the technological gap in village administration, thereby contributing to more participatory, transparent, and accountable village governance from a bottom-up perspective.

This study analyzes the effect of price and location on consumer purchase decisions at Nine Aces Pool and Cafe in Bandung City. The research was motivated by intense competition in Bandung's culinary sector, where affordability and accessibility play decisive roles in shaping consumer preferences. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method involving 96 respondents selected from a population of 2,171 consumers using the Lemeshow formula and proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that both price and location have significant partial and simultaneous impacts on purchase decisions. Location proved to be the dominant factor influencing consumer behavior, suggesting that strategic positioning and convenient accessibility are more influential than pricing alone. The study recommends that management optimize pricing strategies and enhance location-related facilities to strengthen customer loyalty and satisfaction.

This activity aims to improve digital visual design skills among youth members of Karang Taruna RT 04, Tjitramas Residence, through the use of the Canva application. The background of this activity is the limited ability of youth in creating attractive and informative visual content for social media. The method used is action research with a mixed-method approach, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The participants consisted of 25 youths who attended the training through material presentation, demonstrations, and hands-on design practice. Data collection techniques included observation, pre-test and post-test, and evaluation of participants’ work using a rubric-based assessment instrument. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ skills in using Canva, including feature understanding, creativity, layout arrangement, and relevance to the given theme. Most participants were able to produce visual designs suitable for social media publication such as posters, promotions, logos, social media content, and marketing materials independently.In conclusion, this training is effective in enhancing youth digital design skills and can serve as a medium for creativity development and promotion of community activities.

Digital products themselves can take the form of applications, platforms, or systems that can assist people in various aspects of life, such as education, health, economy, and others. However, not everyone in society necessarily knows and understands digital products themselves. Therefore, training and mentoring are needed to increase the community’s digital capacity and develop it according to their needs. Digital product development can also boost the creative economy and open up business opportunities for the community. Therefore, developing digital products can be a strategy to improve community welfare and reduce social inequality. In achieving the objectives of this activity, the implementing team used a counseling/socialization method in an event. The implementing team, acting as tutors, provided knowledge while also assisting the training participants in mastering the training material. This allowed participants to master the material while simultaneously practicing with instructor guidance. The role of savings and credit cooperatives is fundamental to fostering local economic stability, especially in areas where access to formal financial services is still limited. However, cooperatives face challenges in managing finances effectively through the application of cash flow information utilization via structured and transparent cash flow statements. Therefore, the community service activity carried out took the form of socialization and training on preparing cash flow statements for the administrators of the savings and loan cooperative of residents of RT.003 RW.021 in the GPE Pamulang Timur housing complex, becoming a relevant step to improve managerial capacity, particularly in financial administration management. This activity was implemented using a participatory and collaborative approach through several stages, namely problem identification, field surveys, material preparation, conceptual and practical training on preparing cash flow statements, followed by systematic tracking and evaluation. The assessment indicated improved comprehension and competencies among participants regarding the delivered material. This improvement was evidenced by the rise in mean participant scores, from 53.8 pre-training to 81.3 post-training after the training, indicating a significant improvement in understanding. These findings indicate that socialization and practical training activities contribute positively to improving managerial literacy, particularly in cooperative financial governance. In addition, this activity also encourages increased transparency in cooperative financial management. More informative and easily understandable cash flow statements also enhance member trust and encourage active participation in cooperative management. This increased trust has the potential to reduce internal conflicts and support the sustainability and stability of the cooperative’s financial operations.

Abstrak. Koperasi simpan pinjam (KSP) memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat perekonomian masyarakat di tingkat lokal, terutama di daerah yang akses terhadap layanan keuangan formal masih terbatas. Namun, koperasi dihadapkan pada tantangan dalam mengelola keuangan secara efektif melalui penerapan pemanfaatan informasi arus kas melalui laporan arus kas yang terstruktur dan transparan. Berdasarkan pertimbangan tersebut, pendampingan pengabdian masyarakat diimplementasikan melalui diseminasi informasi dan peningkatan ketrampilan berupa edukasi dan pelatihan penyusunan laporan arus kas Pengurus KSP RT.003 RW.021, Perumahan GPE Pamulang Timur menjadi langkah yang relevan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas manajerial, khususnya dalam pengelolaan administrasi keuangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu identifikasi permasalahan, survei lapangan, penyusunan materi, pelatihan konsep dan praktik penyusunan laporan arus kas, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memahami materi yang diberikan. Hal ini tercermin dari kenaikan nilai rata-rata peserta dari 53,8 sebelum pelatihan menjadi 81,3 setelah pelatihan, yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dan praktik pelatihan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan literasi manajerial, khususnya dalam tata kelola keuangan koperasi. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendorong peningkatan transparansi dalam pengelolaan keuangan koperasi. Laporan arus kas yang lebih informatif dan mudah dipahami berkontribusi pada meningkatnya kepercayaan anggota. Program ini turut mendorong partisipasi aktif anggota dalam pengelolaan koperasi sehingga terbentuk kepercayaan dan motivasi yang lebih tinggi dari anggota. Proses Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) di banyak sekolah pendanaan yayasan pendidikan masih dilakukan secara manual. Kondisi tersebut juga ditemukan di Yayasan Nurul Ulum Pungkuran Semarang, yang menaungi SD Nurul Ulum Pungkuran dan SMP Hasanuddin 3. Permasalahan utama meliputi proses administrasi yang lambat, potensi duplikasi data, kesulitan dalam verifikasi pembayaran, serta tidak adanya sistem berbasis web yang dapat diakses secara real time. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan merancang dan menerapkan sistem PPDB berbasis web yang terintegrasi dengan payment gateway Midtrans, serta melakukan pendampingan kepada tenaga administrasi agar mampu mengoperasikan sistem secara mandiri. Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pengembangan sistem PPDB, uji coba, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem berjalan secara efektif, mempermudah proses pendaftaran, mempercepat verifikasi pembayaran, dan meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi. Evaluasi melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) menunjukkan bahwa sistem memenuhi kebutuhan mitra, mudah digunakan, dan sangat membantu dalam monitoring pembayaran secara real time.

The rapid growth of information technology has made people use the internet in many daily activities, such as communication, education, and financial transactions like mobile banking. However, using public Wi-Fi without proper security can be risky, especially due to threats like sniffing, where attackers can intercept and access users’ data without their knowledge. This outreach activity aims to increase public awareness about the dangers of sniffing and the importance of safe internet use. The method used was a descriptive approach, including material presentation, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and questionnaires. The activity was conducted with members of the Dawis group in RT 09/RW 07, Kranji Village, East Purwokerto. The results showed that all participants (100%) understood the material, with 62.5% agreeing and 37.5% strongly agreeing that it was easy to understand and relevant to their daily lives. Participants also became more aware of the risks of public Wi-Fi and learned simple ways to stay safe, such as avoiding access to important accounts, using HTTPS, and enabling two-factor authentication. In conclusion, this activity successfully improved digital security awareness and encouraged safer and more responsible internet use.

Arsip digital berisiko mengalami kebocoran, pencurian, maupun akses ilegal apabila tidak dilindungi dengan sistem pengamanan yang memadai. Kondisi tersebut juga ditemukan pada Kantor Notaris dan PPAT Tangerang Selatan sebagai mitra kegiatan, di mana sebagian besar dokumen penting seperti akta, sertifikat, dan kontrak masih disimpan pada komputer atau media eksternal tanpa mekanisme enkripsi tambahan. Situasi ini menjadikan arsip hukum rawan disalahgunakan apabila perangkat hilang, rusak, atau diretas oleh pihak tidak bertanggung jawab. Sebagai solusi, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengimplementasikan penggunaan VeraCrypt sebagai perangkat lunak enkripsi berbasis open source. VeraCrypt dipilih karena memiliki tingkat keamanan tinggi, tidak berbayar, kompatibel dengan berbagai sistem operasi, serta mudah dipelajari melalui pendampingan. Melalui pelatihan ini, staf kantor notaris dibekali keterampilan membuat encrypted container sebagai brankas digital untuk mengamankan arsip.

The use of visual design media in schools, particularly vocational high schools, remains suboptimal. This community service activity aimed to improve students' ability to use Canva as a visual design tool to support information delivery at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Purwokerto. The activity employed a descriptive approach combining socialization and hands-on practice. Participants consisted of 20 students who attended the session on April 30, 2026. Data were collected through observation and documentation of students' design outputs, assessed based on three indicators: color selection, typography use, and layout arrangement. The results showed that 80% of students (16 out of 20) demonstrated measurable improvement across all three aspects after the training, with color selection at 80%, typography at 75%, and layout at 85%. Students were able to produce more structured and communicative visual media compared to their initial work. These findings suggest that Canva can serve as a practical tool to support visual communication skills in a school setting.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah tersebut menjadi pupuk organik yang benilai guna. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatam partisipatif melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan praktik secara langsung dengan melibatkan kelompok tani. Metode tersebut menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman, partisipasi, dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah melalui proses fermentasi, serta menghasilkan pupuk yang berpotensi meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of second-semester nursing students at Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu in home care-based wound care. The methods included education, demonstration, and hands-on practice of wound care according to standard operating procedures (SOP) involving 50 students. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test. The results showed significant improvements in all aspects. Students' knowledge increased, for example, understanding of 0.9% NaCl solution rose from 50% to 90%. Positive attitudes toward wound care also improved, with almost all respondents expressing willingness to perform proper wound care. In terms of practice, correct handwashing and wound cleaning behaviors increased to above 85%. The combination of education, demonstration, and hands-on practice proved effective in enhancing nursing students' competencies.

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to empower non-productive community groups through fish nugget production training as an effort to develop the creative economy and strengthen food security in Karang Anyar Village, Langsa Baro District, Aceh. The village has abundant fishery resources; however, their utilization has not been optimal because most residents sell fish only in fresh form with relatively low economic value. In addition, the community’s skills in processing fishery products into value-added products are still limited. The implementation method used a participatory approach through observation, socialization, education, training, direct practice, and mentoring stages. The training activities included the selection of quality fish raw materials, fish nugget processing techniques, packaging methods, and basic product marketing. The target participants were non-productive community groups, especially housewives, so that they could develop home-based businesses using processed fishery products. The results of the program showed that participants had high enthusiasm and were able to independently practice the production of fish nuggets. This program successfully improved community knowledge and skills in fishery product diversification and encouraged entrepreneurial interest based on the creative economy. In addition, the fish nuggets produced can serve as nutritious local food alternatives while also creating opportunities to increase community income. Peningkatan Literasi Mahasiswa tentang Ultra Processed Food dan Sedentary Lifestyle melalui Forum Diskusi Ilmiah

Changes in modern lifestyles have driven the emergence of a dual epidemic characterized by increased consumption of ultra-processed foods (UPF) and a sedentary lifestyle. As a productive age group, college students are at high risk for both of these factors due to unhealthy activity patterns and consumption habits. This scientific discussion forum aims to improve students’ literacy regarding UPF and sedentary lifestyles. The method used was an interactive discussion involving faculty members as resource persons and students as participants. The activity was held on November 14, 2025, in the video conference (ViCon) room at Batam International University with 24 participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in students’ knowledge and awareness regarding the characteristics of UPF, its impact on health, and the risks of a sedentary lifestyle. Students also demonstrated a critical attitude in choosing consumption patterns and began to realize the importance of physical activity. The conclusion of this activity is that scientific discussion forums are effective as an educational medium in improving student literacy regarding the double epidemic and strengthening the role of students as agents of change in implementing and disseminating healthy lifestyle behaviors.

Abstrak

Perubahan gaya hidup modern telah mendorong terjadinya fenomena epidemi ganda yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya konsumsi UPF dan sedentary lifestyle. Mahasiswa sebagai kelompok usia produktif memiliki risiko tinggi terhadap kedua faktor tersebut akibat pola aktivitas dan kebiasaan konsumsi yang kurang sehat. Kegiatan forum diskusi ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi mahasiswa terkait UPF dan sedentary lifestyle. Metode yang digunakan adalah diskusi interaktif yang melibatkan dosen sebagai narasumber dan mahasiswa sebagai peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 14 November 2025 di ruang video conference (ViCon) Universitas Internasional Batam dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 24 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mahasiswa terkait karakteristik UPF, dampaknya terhadap kesehatan, serta risiko sedentary lifestyle. Mahasiswa juga menunjukkan sikap yang kritis dalam memilih pola konsumsi dan mulai menyadari pentingnya aktivitas fisik. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah forum diskusi ilmiah efektif sebagai media edukasi dalam meningkatkan literasi mahasiswa mengenai epidemi ganda serta memperkuat peran mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan dalam menerapkan dan menyebarluaskan perilaku hidup sehat.

Pelecehan seksual di lingkungan pelajar masih sering terjadi dan kerap dipahami secara sempit hanya sebagai tindakan fisik. Padahal, pelecehan seksual juga dapat terjadi dalam bentuk verbal maupun nonverbal yang berdampak negatif terhadap korban serta lingkungan sekolah. Kurangnya pemahaman mengenai batasan pergaulan serta minimnya edukasi hukum menjadi faktor yang mendorong munculnya perilaku tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran hukum siswa mengenai bentuk-bentuk pelecehan seksual serta konsekuensi hukumnya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan hukum kepada siswa Madrasah Aliyah Darul Irfan Kota Serang dengan menggunakan metode edukatif dan partisipatif, yang meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, serta studi kasus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebelum penyuluhan sebagian besar siswa masih memahami pelecehan seksual secara terbatas. Setelah kegiatan berlangsung, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai bentuk-bentuk pelecehan seksual, dampaknya terhadap korban, serta ketentuan hukum yang mengaturnya. Dengan demikian, kegiatan penyuluhan hukum dapat menjadi salah satu upaya preventif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum pelajar serta mendorong terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang aman, sehat, dan saling menghormati.

The abuse of narcotics and psychotropic substances is a social problem that negatively affects health, social life, and the future of the younger generation. Therefore, preventive efforts through education and counseling are needed. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to increase public awareness about the dangers of narcotics and psychotropic abuse and their legal consequences through the synergy between law students and community leaders in supporting the Drug-Free Village (Desa Bersinar) program. The activity was conducted at SMAN 2 Pandeglang, Banten using lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer methods. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of drug types, the impacts of drug abuse, and legal sanctions related to narcotics and psychotropics. In addition, the activity increased community awareness in maintaining a safe and drug-free environment. Therefore, this counseling activity is expected to become a preventive effort in supporting the realization of a Drug-Free Village in Pandeglang Regency.

Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 and Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 1997 state that narcotics and psychotropic substances are substances that can affect the central nervous system and cause dependence. The National Narcotics Agency (BNN, 2021) noted that the 15–35 age group is the largest user of narcotics in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 1.95% of the total population. Drug use among male adolescents is 4.9%, with the highest use being through smoking or inhaling (2.5%), and it can increase premarital sexual behavior (Hasanah, 2022). In Lampung Province in 2023, there were 1,516 cases of drug abuse, with the highest number of cases among high school students (699, or 47.1%) (Ulinnuha, 2024). Preventing drug abuse requires a comprehensive strategy through multi-stakeholder collaboration, as drug abuse has detrimental effects on both physical and psychological health (Azhar, 2023).

The results showed that the socialization activity positively impacted students’ understanding of entrepreneurial concepts, entrepreneurial motivation, self-confidence, and awareness of digital business opportunities. Students also demonstrated higher enthusiasm in developing creative business ideas based on technology and social media. Therefore, this activity is expected to become an initial step in shaping entrepreneurial mindsets among students and encouraging the emergence of young entrepreneurs within higher education environments.

Photography in digital content is one of the key strategies for increasing audience engagement, particularly through social media platforms. As a digital daily media outlet, Harian Disway utilizes photography to maintain reader interest while expanding the reach of its content. This study aims to analyze the role of photography in enhancing engagement on Harian Disway content and to identify the types of photographic content that are most effective in capturing audience attention in the digital era. This research employs a case study method with a qualitative approach through content analysis of Harian Disway social media platforms. The findings indicate that photographic content featuring elements of human interest, timeliness (actuality), and high visual quality tends to generate higher levels of interaction compared to text-based content. These results demonstrate that photography plays a strategic role in supporting the effectiveness of digital media communication and contributes to the development of visual journalism studies and media content management.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan model pelaksanaan Alun-Alun English Camp Chapter 2 sebagai ruang penguatan literasi Bahasa Inggris remaja berbasis kolaborasi Pemerintah Daerah dan organisasi kepemudaan di Kabupaten Barru. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 22–23 Mei 2026 di Alun-Alun Colliq Pujie/Alun-Alun Kota Barru dan diikuti oleh remaja/pelajar tingkat SLTP dan SLTA se-Kabupaten Barru. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif berbasis praktik Bahasa Inggris melalui empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, pengondisian peserta, pelaksanaan inti, serta evaluasi dan penutupan. Rangkaian kegiatan mencakup koordinasi panitia dan mitra, pemasangan tenda, pembagian kelompok, briefing peserta, penyampaian materi English Camp, pembukaan resmi, workshop “Peduli Lingkungan”, Malam Pentas AEC, Practice English Camp, Outbound, dan English Challenge Games. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Alun-Alun English Camp terlaksana sebagai program pengabdian berbasis ruang publik yang memadukan pembelajaran nonformal, praktik komunikatif, kerja kelompok, penampilan, permainan edukatif, dan pemberdayaan remaja. Kolaborasi lintas aktor menjadi faktor penting dalam memperkuat legitimasi kegiatan, mobilisasi peserta, pengelolaan teknis, dan peluang keberlanjutan program.

SADAR & SEHAT : Gerakan Ibu di Desa Barangka Peduli Kesehatan Reproduksi Melalui Penyuluhan IVA Test dan SADARI

Abstrak. Masalah kesehatan reproduksi, khususnya kanker serviks dan kanker payudara, masih menjadi permasalahan serius pada perempuan. Rendahnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan mengenai deteksi dini, seperti IVA Test dan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI), menyebabkan banyak kasus terdeteksi pada stadium lanjut sehingga meningkatkan risiko komplikasi dan kematian. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan edukasi berbasis masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran perempuan terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesehatan reproduksi sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran ibu-ibu mengenai kesehatan reproduksi, khususnya deteksi dini kanker serviks dan kanker payudara melalui penyuluhan IVA Test dan SADARI. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Barangka dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 15 orang ibu-ibu. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi, dan tanya jawab dengan pendekatan komunikasi interaktif agar peserta lebih mudah memahami materi. Media yang digunakan berupa penyampaian materi secara langsung dan sederhana. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan setelah penyuluhan, di mana sebanyak 14 peserta (93,3%) memperoleh kategori baik dan 1 peserta (6,7%) kategori cukup. Peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mengenai pengertian, tujuan, manfaat, serta cara melakukan IVA Test dan SADARI dengan benar. Dengan demikian, edukasi kesehatan melalui penyuluhan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai kesehatan reproduksi serta pentingnya deteksi dini secara berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan perempuan di masyarakat. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat mendorong perubahan perilaku positif dalam melakukan pemeriksaan rutin serta meningkatkan partisipasi perempuan dalam program deteksi dini sehingga angka kejadian dan kematian akibat kanker dapat ditekan secara signifikan di masa mendatang secara berkelanjutan nasional..

Stunting remains a major nutritional problem in Indonesia and is closely related to inadequate nutritional intake and low public knowledge regarding balanced nutrition. This community service activity aimed to increase mothers’ knowledge about balanced nutrition and the utilization of local food through a fishball cooking demonstration in Barangka Village, Buton Regency. The activity was carried out on May 2, 2026 involving 12 participants consisting of pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. The methods used included counseling, educational sessions, cooking demonstrations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The educational materials covered stunting prevention, balanced nutrition guidelines, and the processing of local fish into nutritious fishballs. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge after the intervention. The proportion of participants with good knowledge increased from 41.67% during the pre-test to 83.33% during the post-test. This activity indicates that balanced nutrition education combined with local food cooking demonstrations can effectively improve community knowledge and awareness regarding stunting prevention.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and cervical cancer remain important reproductive health problems due to low public awareness regarding prevention and early detection. This study aimed to determine community knowledge regarding STDs and awareness of early cervical cancer detection through reproductive health education in Barangka Village. This study used a descriptive observational design involving 111 respondents. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and health education activities. The results showed that 69 respondents (62%) did not know about STDs, while only 42 respondents (38%) had knowledge regarding STDs. In addition, 90 respondents (81%) had low knowledge regarding cervical cancer and early detection. After the educational activities, the community showed increased understanding and awareness regarding reproductive health and the importance of IVA or Pap Smear examinations. The study concludes that reproductive health education can improve public knowledge and awareness regarding STDs and early detection of cervical cancer. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) is an important effort to improve students’ health status and prevent health problems in the school environment. Lack of understanding regarding personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and healthy living habits may increase the risk of disease among school-age children. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge regarding Clean and Healthy Living Behavior through health education. The community service used a pre-experimental approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The activity was conducted in May 2026 at SD Negeri 35 Buton involving 34 elementary school students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions related to handwashing habits, personal hygiene, waste disposal behavior, healthy eating patterns, and environmental cleanliness. The results of the pre-test showed that most students still had low knowledge regarding CHLB, with 44.1% categorized as having poor knowledge. After health education was provided through counseling, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions, the post-test results showed an increase in students’ knowledge, where 61.8% of students had good knowledge regarding CHLB. The findings indicate that health education through counseling methods is effective in improving students’ understanding and awareness regarding clean and healthy living behavior. Continuous health education programs are needed to encourage students to implement healthy living behaviors consistently in everyday life and to create a clean, safe, and healthy school environment.

Diarrheal disease remains one of the common health problems among elementary school children due to the low awareness of maintaining hand hygiene. This community service activity was carried out in Wakalambe Village with the aim of increasing children’s knowledge and habits regarding Handwashing with Soap (HWWS) as an effort to prevent diarrheal diseases. The selection of this topic was based on the lack of understanding among children about the proper times and methods for washing hands in daily life. The community service method was conducted through health education activities, including material presentations, demonstrations of proper handwashing steps, direct practice with students, and interactive question-and-answer sessions. The results of the activity showed that participants had a better understanding of the importance of hand hygiene and were able to practice proper HWWS techniques after receiving the education. This activity had a positive impact on increasing awareness of clean and healthy living behaviors among elementary school children. Therefore, HWWS education can serve as an effective step in preventing the spread of diarrheal diseases in schools and the community.

Limited knowledge regarding the risks and impacts of early pregnancy is one of the contributing factors to the increasing incidence of adolescent pregnancy. This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge among senior high school students regarding the risks and impacts of early pregnancy in Desa Mabulugo. The study used a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 48 senior high school students selected using total sampling techniques. The results showed that 62.5% of respondents had a moderate level of knowledge regarding the risks and impacts of early pregnancy, 25% had good knowledge, and 12.5% had low knowledge. Several students were still found to have misconceptions regarding reproductive health complications, psychosocial consequences, and the ideal age for pregnancy. The findings indicate the importance of continuous reproductive health education through schools, families, and community-based health programs. Improving adolescent knowledge is expected to reduce the risk of early pregnancy and encourage healthier attitudes and behaviors among students.

Pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga dan sanitasi lingkungan yang kurang baik masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan lingkungan yang dapat meningkatkan risiko penyebaran penyakit di masyarakat. Pembuangan limbah cair rumah tangga dan sampah organik yang tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan serta menurunkan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai sanitasi lingkungan melalui implementasi pembuatan SPAL sederhana dan kompos rumah tangga. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2026 di Desa Kamelanta, Kecamatan Kapontori, Kabupaten Buton, Sulawesi Tenggara dengan melibatkan 30 orang peserta masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan kesehatan, edukasi dan demonstrasi langsung mengenai pembuatan SPAL sederhana serta pengolahan sampah organik menjadi kompos rumah tangga menggunakan bahan yang mudah diperoleh di lingkungan sekitar. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap tingkat kehadiran, partisipasi dan pemahaman peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta hadir penuh dan aktif mengikuti diskusi maupun demonstrasi praktik. Pemahaman peserta mengenai sanitasi lingkungan, fungsi SPAL sederhana, pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga dan pembuatan kompos meningkat dari kurang menjadi baik setelah diberikan edukasi dan demonstrasi. Metode demonstrasi dinilai efektif karena peserta dapat melihat dan mempraktikkan langsung proses pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu mendorong masyarakat untuk menerapkan pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga yang baik sehingga tercipta lingkungan yang lebih bersih, sehat dan berkelanjutan.

Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang masih sering ditemukan di masyarakat, terutama pada lingkungan dengan sanitasi yang kurang baik. Kondisi lingkungan seperti pembuangan sampah yang tidak tepat, polusi udara akibat pembakaran sampah, serta ventilasi rumah yang kurang baik dapat meningkatkan risiko penyebaran penyakit ISPA. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pencegahan ISPA melalui edukasi sanitasi lingkungan di Desa Wakalambe. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2026 dengan melibatkan 30 orang peserta masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan kesehatan melalui ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan pemberian media edukasi mengenai ISPA, sanitasi lingkungan, serta perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap tingkat kehadiran, partisipasi, dan pemahaman peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta hadir penuh dan aktif mengikuti kegiatan edukasi. Pemahaman peserta mengenai ISPA, penyebab, penularan, pencegahan, serta pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan mengalami peningkatan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan. Edukasi kesehatan dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga sanitasi lingkungan dan menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat untuk mengurangi risiko penyakit ISPA. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan serta meningkatkan kesehatan keluarga secara berkelanjutan.

Komunikasi Informasi Edukasi Anti Pinjaman Online Ilegal bagi Ibu Rumah Tangga di PKBM An-Nadhif

Illegal online lending has become a serious threat to low-income families, particularly housewives who are vulnerable to predatory lending practices and debt collector intimidation. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of housewives at PKBM An-Nadhif, Serang Regency, regarding the dangers of illegal online lending and healthy financial alternatives through a Communication, Information, and Education (CIE) approach. The implementation method covers three stages, preparation, implementation, and evaluation, using pre-tests and post-tests administered to 35 participants. Activities were conducted through interactive lectures, group discussions, case simulations, and the promotion of formal financial services. Evaluation results indicated an improvement in understanding of illegal online lending characteristics by 72.4%, legal and social risks by 65.8%, and formal financial alternatives by 58.3%. The average participant score increased from 46.2 to 76.8, representing a 66.2% improvement (p < 0.001). The CIE approach proved effective in enhancing financial literacy and the community's critical awareness of illegal online lending.

This Community Service Program aims to explore the role of information technology-based human resource development in the Indonesian Fitness Sports Organization community, known as ORKI, in South Tangerang City. The main problems faced by the partner organization include the suboptimal capacity of human resources in communication, leadership, teamwork, time management, discipline, activity documentation, and the use of information technology to support organizational management. The implementation methods of this program included counseling, mentoring, participatory discussions, practical training on the use of simple information technology tools, and activity evaluation. The materials delivered covered human resource development, digital literacy, organizational communication, collaborative leadership, teamwork, time management, and the use of information technology for data management, documentation, publication, and activity evaluation. The results of the program showed that participants gained a better understanding of the importance of information technology-based human resource development in strengthening community organizational governance. Participants also demonstrated enthusiasm in joining the activities, engaging in discussions, and understanding the use of simple technology to support ORKI activities. Peningkatan Pengetahuan Ibu Dan Status Gizi Melalui Edukasi Dan Demonstrasi Pengolahan Ikan Sebagai Alternatif Cemilan Sehat

Nutritional problems in toddlers remain one of the major public health issues affecting child growth and development. Limited maternal knowledge regarding balanced nutrition and low utilization of local food resources contribute to nutritional problems among children. Fish is a local food source rich in protein and essential nutrients that can be processed into healthy snacks for toddlers. Objective: This community service activity aimed to improve mothers’ knowledge and support nutritional status improvement through nutrition education and fish-processing demonstrations as an alternative healthy snack. Methods: The activity was conducted in Desa Kamelanta involving mothers with toddlers as participants. Activities included nutrition education, counseling regarding balanced nutrition and stunting prevention, as well as demonstrations of fish-based healthy snack processing. Educational media used included leaflets, direct presentations, and practical demonstrations. Evaluation was conducted through observation of participant involvement and understanding during the activity. Results: Participants showed enthusiasm during educational sessions and cooking demonstrations. Increased maternal understanding was observed regarding balanced nutrition, healthy snack selection, and utilization of local fish resources for child nutrition fulfillment. This activity also encouraged mothers to apply healthier feeding practices at home. Implication: Nutrition education combined with practical demonstrations can improve maternal knowledge and optimize the use of local food resources as an effort to improve child nutritional status and prevent stunting.

Family mental health is an important aspect of individual and social well-being. However, public understanding of mental health remains relatively low and continues to be a common issue in society. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a family-based mental health psychoeducation program in improving public awareness and understanding of family mental health. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach at the Family Planning Center in Sako District, Palembang City. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and direct practice during the community service program. The activities included community socialization, the Emotion Bank program, counseling corners, maternal mental health psychoeducation, adolescent mental health education, and digitalization of community services. The findings showed that the program increased community participation, emotional openness, understanding of family mental health, and awareness of psychological well-being. Participatory and communicative approaches also helped participants feel more comfortable receiving education and psychological support effectively.

Nutritional problems among toddlers remain a significant public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in coastal areas where the utilization of nutritious local food resources is still limited. One effort to prevent nutritional problems can be carried out through nutrition education and demonstrations of processing local food ingredients into healthy and attractive foods for toddlers. This study aimed to determine the effect of education and demonstrations on making nuggets made from fish, cassava, and moringa leaves in improving the knowledge and skills of mothers with toddlers regarding the utilization of local food as an effort to prevent nutritional problems among toddlers in the coastal area of Barangka, Buton Regency. This study used a descriptive method with a community service approach. The activity was conducted in Barangka Village, Kapontori District, Buton Regency, in 2026 with a sample of 18 participants consisting of mothers with toddlers and posyandu cadres selected using purposive sampling techniques. The activities were carried out through nutrition education, demonstrations of making nuggets from local ingredients, and evaluations using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge after the intervention. Before the activity, participants in the poor knowledge category were 50.0%, sufficient category 33.3%, and good category 16.7%. After the education and demonstration activities, the poor category decreased to 0%, the sufficient category increased to 55.6%, and the good category increased to 44.4%. These findings indicate that education and demonstrations on processing local food ingredients are effective in improving community knowledge and skills regarding the utilization of nutritious local food to prevent nutritional problems among toddlers.
