Abstract

Palm Oil PKS is an abbreviation for Palm Oil Factory which refers to an industrial facility that receives and processes palm fruit into various derivative products such as palm oil, palm kernel oil, palm fat, and others. The aim of this research is to find out how the marketing communications of PKS Sei Meranti can increase palm oil sales amidst the current price decline. The research method used in this research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is to collect data obtained through in-depth interviews and documentation. Data is then selected from the collected data and analyzed in relation to each other to obtain tentative assumptions and draw conclusions from the results. The research results found that although there are obstacles in using the My Palm application, forms of marketing communication such as media types and marketing communication strategies, PKS Sei Meranti referring to the 4Ps of product, price, place, and promotion, I understand. message information and integrity, and the effectiveness of marketing communications. The cognitive, emotional and positive effects achieved by PKS Medan have been effective and on track.
