Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of job training, leadership style, and work motivation on employee performance at the Secretariat of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of Tangerang City, both partially and simultaneously. The background of this study is based on phenomena observed in the field, namely employees who tend to work in a relaxed manner due to minimal supervision from superiors, a lenient attendance system, and the absence of job training programs independently organized by the institution. This study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive verificative research type. The population of this study consists of all employees of the Secretariat of DPRD Tangerang City, totaling 76 people, and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling (census), whereby the entire population serves as the research sample. Data collection was carried out through questionnaire distribution using a Likert scale of 1–5. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Job Training has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a t-value of 2.172 > t-table of 1.993 and a significance value of 0.033 < 0.05; (2) Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a t-value of 2.870 > t-table of 1.993 and a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05; (3) Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a t-value of 3.409 > t-table of 1.993 and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05; (4) Job Training, Leadership Style, and Work Motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with an F-value of 175.596 > F-table of 2.73 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The magnitude of the contribution of the three independent variables to Employee Performance is indicated by an Adjusted R Square value of 0.875 or 87.5%, while the remaining 12.5% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.
