PENGARUH ROA DAN ROE TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR PADA SUBSEKTOR FARMASI DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to see how ROA and ROE impact stock prices in manufacturing companies engaged in the pharmaceutical sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2022. The quantitative method is the method used in the following study. The linear regression analysis technique is used. And the sample used consists of eight pharmaceutical companies selected based on several criteria. Although both have negative beta coefficients, the results of the study show that neither ROA nor ROE have a significant impact on stock prices. This also shows an increase in stock prices that is not always followed by higher ROA and ROE levels. Not only is the profitability ratio used to assess stock performance, in the study studied it can also provide implications for investors and company management to consider more complex components such as other factors.
