Abstract

Abstrak. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence selection and training have on employee performance at PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk. The method in this study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study amounted to 70 respondents. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and heritage studies. Data analysis techniques used validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, and hypothesis tests. The results of this study are that selection does not have a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value of 36% and the hypothesis test obtained t count < t table, namely (1.466 < 1.667). Training does not have a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value of 0.5% and the hypothesis test t count < t table or (.527 < 1.667). Selection and training simultaneously do not have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 40.705 + 0.172X1 + 0.73X2, the coefficient of determination value is 4.2% while the remaining 95.8% is influenced by factors. The hypothesis test obtained a calculated F value < F table, namely (1.237 < 3.134).
