PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI INSTANSI PEMERINTAH

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of a gap between high procedural compliance but low employee work initiative in the public sector. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational communication and work environment on the performance of government agency employees. The research method used a quantitative descriptive and verificative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires distributed to 58 respondents using the census technique (total sampling). Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results showed that organizational communication and work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, with an influence contribution of 64.3%. Key findings reveal that the dominance of senior employees (aging workforce) and one-way communication patterns are the main inhibiting factors for work initiative aspects, even though physical facility support is rated as very adequate.
