Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and the work environment on employee performance at Wizzmie Cimahi, following an observed decline in performance based on the company's preliminary data. The research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive and verificative analysis with multiple linear regression. The population of this study consists of all employees at Wizzmie Cimahi, totaling 37 respondents, utilizing a total sampling (census) technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a 1-5 Likert scale, which were tested for validity and reliability, and subsequently analyzed using SPSS 27. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that work motivation, work environment, and employee performance are generally in the "strong" category. The verificative analysis through partial hypothesis testing shows that work motivation has a significant and positive influence on employee performance with a Sig. value of 0.019 < 0.05. Similarly, the work environment has a significant and positive influence on employee performance with a Sig. value of 0.033 < 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee performance, contributing 45.9%. These findings suggest that enhancing work motivation and the work environment are key factors that the company must address to optimize employee effectiveness within the food and beverage industry).
