ANALISIS KOMPARATIF KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN FARMASI : STUDI PADA PT PYRIDAM FARMA TBK DAN PT DARYA VARIA LABORATORIA TBK

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of PT Pyridam Farma Tbk and PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk during the period 2015–2024. The research employs a descriptive comparative method with a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data in the form of annual financial reports obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the official websites of the companies. The analysis is conducted using financial ratios, including liquidity ratios (Current Ratio and Quick Ratio), solvency ratios (Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio), and profitability ratios (Return on Assets and Return on Equity). The results indicate that PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk demonstrates more stable and consistent financial performance compared to PT Pyridam Farma Tbk. In terms of liquidity, Darya-Varia shows a better ability to meet its short-term obligations. In terms of solvency, Darya-Varia maintains a lower and more controlled level of leverage, while Pyridam exhibits a significant increase in debt since 2021. In terms of profitability, Darya-Varia maintains stable performance, whereas Pyridam shows high fluctuations and even experiences losses in the final years of the study.
