Abstract

Education faces dual challenges in quality enhancement at both national and global levels. This study aims to analyze these challenges within school and madrasah environments and formulate comprehensive mitigation strategies. The method employed is a conceptual analysis based on an in-depth literature review of various national and international scientific articles. The findings indicate that national challenges are predominantly driven by the inequitable distribution of educator quality in remote areas and institutional instability caused by frequent curriculum policy transitions. Meanwhile, global challenges encompass the disruption of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and the rigorous demands of industry standards regarding graduates' employability. As a solution, governance reform must be directed toward the equitable distribution of teachers, continuous competency development, the reduction of administrative burdens, the prudent utilization of AI, and the cultivation of a pre-professional identity through close industry partnerships. This study implies the provision of a strategic reference framework for educational administrators to enhance school governance efficiency, thereby producing globally competitive graduates.
