PENDIDIKAN DALAM KONTEKS GLOBAL PENGARUH: GLOBALISASI TERHADAP SISTEM DAN PRAKTIK PENDIDIKAN DI INDONESIA

Globalization as a multidimensional phenomenon presents both opportunities and challenges for Islamic education. On the one hand, it expands access to technology, information, and academic networks that foster learning innovation; on the other, it poses threats such as identity crises, the commercialization of education, and moral decline among younger generations. This study aims to critically analyze the impact of globalization on the quality of Islamic education and to formulate strategies for strengthening it in line with global demands. The research employs a qualitative approach using library research, examining books, journals, and both international and national research reports. The findings indicate that the quality of Islamic education depends on the ability of institutions to integrate Islamic values with modern knowledge, strengthen competency-based curricula for the 21st century, enhance teacher capacity, and critically utilize digital technology. The implications highlight the necessity of transforming Islamic education into an adaptive and competitive system firmly rooted in Qur’anic values to produce Muslim generations who are excellent, globally competitive, and morally upright. transformationobalization has had a broad influence on various areas of life, including education. In the context of education, globalization encourages the integration of values, knowledge and technology between countries to form an increasingly open and competitive learning system. This research aims to analyze the impact of globalization on the education system, both in terms of opportunities and challenges that arise in efforts to improve the quality of national education. The research method used is library research, namely by collecting and analyzing various literary sources such as books, scientific journals and relevant documents that discuss the themes of globalization and education. The results of the study show that globalization plays a positive role in expanding access to information and learning resources, increasing students' global competence, and accelerating digital transformation in the education sector.
