Analisis Fenomena Kekerasan dalam Rumah Tangga dan Implikasinya terhadap Ketahanan Keluarga

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) remains a social problem that impacts family resilience and harmony, especially among young couples who lack the mental readiness and optimal conflict management skills. This phenomenon indicates that the goal of marriage to form a harmonious, loving, and respectful family has not been fully achieved. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the occurrence of domestic violence and identify efforts that can be made to create a blessed family. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through case studies with content analysis techniques on data obtained from news reports, scientific literature, and relevant theories regarding marriage readiness, interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, religiosity, and psychosocial development. The results of the study indicate that the occurrence of domestic violence is influenced by economic pressure, low quality of communication within the family, mental unpreparedness of partners, weak emotional control abilities, and minimal understanding of rights and obligations in the household. These conditions can cause psychological impacts, prolonged conflict, and an increased risk of divorce. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening premarital readiness, improving communication quality, developing emotional intelligence, and instilling religious values ​​and family responsibility as preventative measures in building a peaceful, harmonious, and violence-free family.
