This study aims to analyze various regulations in Muslim countries related to the age limit for marriage from the perspective of progressive Islamic law. The background is the difference in determining the age limit for marriage by scholars and subsequently becoming the codification of marriage law in contemporary Muslim countries. This is also because there is no text that explicitly mentions the minimum age limit for marriage. Muslim countries such as Indonesia, and Turkey. Have carried out unification and codification in marriage law regulations, especially in this case the age limit for marriage. This study is a library research study that focuses on written scientific sources. In this study, each of these regulations will be discussed from the perspective of progressive Islamic. The conclusion in this study is that from the perspective of progressive Islamic law, the two regulations with the two different countries that regulate the age limit for marriage are a form of legal openness to changes that have become inevitable, especially due to the encouragement of gender issues. By adhering to humanitarian values, these regulations certainly become an umbrella for guaranteeing equal rights for both husbands and wives. Meanwhile, from independence as well as equality of status, the two regulations which regulate the minimum age for marriage in different countries are in accordance with the ideal of ensuring a balanced life for men and women.
