Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the implementation of the Project Based Learning model in the creation of fashion inspiration moodboards in phase E at SMK Negeri Tambakboyo, and (2) determine student learning outcomes after the application of the Project Based Learning model to the material on creating fashion inspiration moodboards. This study is a pre-experimental research with a one-shot case study design. The research subjects were class X students in the fashion design program at SMK Negeri Tambakboyo, totaling 35 students. Data collection techniques used observation methods, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The research instruments used included observation sheets for learning implementation, cognitive learning outcome tests, and product assessment rubrics. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis to determine the implementation of learning and student learning outcomes. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of the Project Based Learning model in the creation of fashion inspiration moodboards obtained a very good category, with an average teacher activity score of 3.46 and student activity score of 3.35, thus obtaining an overall average of 3.41; (2) student learning outcomes after the application of the Project Based Learning model showed an average score of 83.13 with a learning completion percentage of 83%, namely 29 students completed and 6 students did not complete. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model in the creation of fashion inspiration moodboards can be implemented very well and is able to produce good learning outcomes for phase E students at SMK Negeri Tambakboyo.
