Nilai-Nilai Tuturan Upacara Adat Hus Pada Masyarakat Nusak Lailete Desa Tasilo Kecamatan Loaholu Kabupaten Rote Ndao

Abstract

The problem in this research is what values are contained in the Hus traditional ceremony in the community of Tasilo Village, Loaholu District, Rote Ndao Regency? This research aims to describe the values contained in the speech of the Hus Traditional Ceremony in the community of Tasilo Village, Loaholu District, Rote Ndao Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research data are in the form of utterances used in the Hus Traditional Ceremony obtained through observation, interviews, recording, note-taking, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the speech of the Hus traditional ceremony contains five main values, namely cultural values, religious values, social values, moral values, and character education values (Educative). Cultural values are reflected in the preservation of dances, traditions, and traditional rituals. Religious values are seen in prayers and petitions to God and the ancestors. Social values are seen through the spirit of togetherness, unity, and cooperation of the community. Moral values teach truth and responsibility in social life. Character education values are reflected in the teachings about gratitude, social care, respect for ancestors, and responsibility toward others.
