Abstract

This research aims to examine the importance of teaching tolerance in the context of religious moderation to young children. With the increasing religious and cultural diversity in society, it is important to instill the values of tolerance from an early age to create a more inclusive and peaceful generation. The method used in this research is a literature study by analyzing various sources related to tolerance education and religious moderation. The results show that teaching religious tolerance and moderation in early childhood has a long-term positive impact on character building, understanding diversity, and preventing future religious-based conflicts. The research also identifies effective strategies in teaching religious tolerance and moderation in early childhood, as well as challenges that may be faced in its implementation.
