Abstract

During adolescence, especially in the school environment, very rapid growth occurs. This growth refers to an increase in the child's physical size which is quantitative in nature as well as psychological development which is qualitative in nature. Adolescence is an important phase in a person's life that marks the process of transition from child to adult. This period is marked by major changes. The process of recognizing and understanding oneself is often referred to as self-concept.This study focuses on the dynamics of adolescent development both from the aspects of self-development, independence and psychological aspects. This study method is descriptive qualitative with secondary data sources from relevant literature studies. The object of this study is children aged between 13-16 years.Adolescent development is like a butterfly transformation. From the cocoon of childhood, they begin to spread their wings into a colorful adolescence. With the right guidance and support, they will emerge as strong, independent individuals who are ready to contribute to the world. Remember every child is unique and has his or her own pace of development. Provide appropriate love, encouragement and guidance so that they can develop optimally and reach their full potential.
