Analisis Teknik Pembuatan Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2023 Tentang Cipta Kerja: Kajian terhadap Proses Pembentukan dan Dampaknya

Abstract

The promulgation of Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Determination of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation into Law in a very fast process brought discussion into the process of making this Law. In realizing a public policy product that has the nuances of people's welfare, the problem lies not only in the national political will, but also in the implementation of the national political will (political action). This is likely to be the government's capital for promulgating the Job Creation Law. However, the good and bad of the law can be seen in the implementation process. This research uses library research methods, namely primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials, namely by searching for concepts, theories, opinions or discoveries which have a close relationship to the subject matter. The rapid discussion process had implications for the community's non-involvement in the process of forming this law, resulting in rejection by various parties.  For almost 2 (two) years, the Job Creation Law has not had a significant impact on society. In fact, from year to year the community's economy experiences a downturn.
