Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between job burnout and job satisfaction in employees. Employees often face physical, mental, and emotional fatigue that arises due to prolonged stress in the work environment that can affect their job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design and involves 145 employees selected using probability sampling techniques with simple random sampling methods and using the G * Power application with a medium effect size to determine the number of samples. The data collection techniques used are job satisfaction scales and job burnout scales that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques use assumption tests with normality and linearity tests, as well as hypothesis tests with simple regression analysis and Spearman correlation. The results of this study indicate that job burnout has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. This finding indicates that the higher the job burnout received by employees, the lower the level of employee job satisfaction.
