MANAJEMEN PESANTREN DALAM PENINGKATAN PRESTASI NON AKADEMIK SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN AQOBAH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL JOMBANG

One of the key indicators for successfully enhancing and developing students' potential, abilities, and character is their non-academic success. But not all Islamic boarding schools have an effective structure in place to regulate extracurricular activities in the best possible way. Lack of systematic planning, inadequate support services, and inadequate oversight of extracurricular activities are common roadblocks. The author looks at how Islamic boarding schools are run to improve the non-academic performance of students at the Islamic boarding school Aqobah International School Jombang according to the previously listed problems. The primary topic of the study is: 1) How is the administration of Islamic boarding schools at Aqobah International School Jombang? 2) How are the non-academic performance levels of the pupils at Aqobah International School Jombang, an Islamic boarding school? 3) In what ways does Aqobah International School Jombang Islamic boarding school's management of Islamic boarding schools improve students' non-academic performance?. This study employs a qualitative methodology. A case study is the name given to this type of research. as demonstrated by the techniques—observation, interviews, and documentation—used to gather data for this investigation. The techniques of data analysis that are used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study demonstrate how modern methods are combined with Salafi traditions to carry out professional administration at the AIS Jombang Islamic Boarding School. Planning according to vision and principles, organization with a defined structure, democratic leadership, and control through regular assessments are all components of the management process. Comprehensive resource management is practiced, which includes training human resources, diversifying funding sources, and making the best use of available facilities. By emphasizing character development, hobbies, and talents through artistic, athletic, and scientific competitions, students' non-academic accomplishments are improved. Despite a number of discipline issues and differences in student character, the accomplishments are a result of the assistance of leaders, qualified coaches, and a positive Islamic boarding school atmosphere.
