Caranoya Ramadhanti S. Nafkah Iddah is the maintenance that must be given by the husband to his former wife because of the divorce, this maintenance must be given because during the iddah or waiting period, the wife is still waiting for the possibility of the former husband returning to the former wife, the former wife may not enter into or marry another man. The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of iddah alimony and the legislation that is used as a basis for providing iddah alimony, explain the implementation of iddah alimony in the Religious Court and examine the arguments used as the basis for judges in deciding the obligation of iddah alimony in case number 1627/Pdt.G/2025/PA.Sby in accordance with the laws governing the provision of alimony and the judge's consideration. Because in accordance with the case, the judge decided on iddah maintenance to the defendant as a form of responsibility after divorce and during the iddah period.
