Abstract

This study aims to identify the causes of self-prejudice in Islamic Guidance and Counseling students in organizing in HMJ FDK UIN North Sumatra. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through observation and interviews with four students. The results of the study indicate that self-prejudice is triggered by feelings of inferiority, social identity crisis, social pressure, excessive ideal standards, and lack of emotional support. The impacts include decreased self-confidence, fear of negative judgment, and withdrawal from organizational activities, which then weaken teamwork and innovation. This study is expected to contribute to the study of social psychology and become practical input for related parties in creating a psychologically healthier organizational environment.
