Abstract

This research examines the entrepreneurial competence of school principals and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the entrepreneurial competence of school principals at Muhammadiyah Limbung High School, Gowa Regency. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data is obtained from school principals and teachers through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the entrepreneurial competencies of school principals at Muhammadiyah Limbung High School, Gowa Regency include 1.) Creating innovation through extracurricular activities., 2.) Working hard to increase teacher capacity through training such as learning digitalization workshops and involving the community with the police, namely national dialogue to create an effective learning organization., 3.) Strong motivation in line with the school's vision and mission, participating in competency strengthening activities., 4.) Never giving up providing the best solutions with help, teachers, students, through new program initiatives such as activities positive., 5.) Having entrepreneurial instincts by mentoring entrepreneurial talents among students and teachers through the learning process. Supporting factors include support from school personnel, high work ethic, strong intentions, never giving up before taking action, daring to take risks. Inhibiting factors: lack of finances, the emergence of a feeling of laziness, lack of entrepreneurial activity, pessimism, environmental factors.
