Systematic Literature Review: Penerapan Understanding By Design Dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Dan Keterlibatan Peserta Didik

This research is a type of qualitative research with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach which aims to identify and synthesize the results of previous research on the application of Understanding by Design (UbD) in the context of learning. The main focus of this study is to examine the application of UbD to student learning outcomes and their involvement in the learning process. The article analyzed was selected based on two main criteria, namely the article discusses the explicit application of UbD, the article is published in a national or international journal that can be accessed through Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate, or DOAJ. Data was collected through article searches using UbD-related keywords in various national and international journal databases. The article selection process follows the PRISMA protocol. From the selection results, 10 articles were obtained that met the criteria and were analyzed qualitatively. The findings of this study show that UbD is able to improve student learning outcomes in various subjects, as well as increase student engagement through contextual, collaborative, and student-centered learning.
