Pemetaan Sebaran Penyandang Disabilitas Dan Fasilitas Pendidikan di Kabupaten Rembang Tahun 2024

This study aims to map and analyze the distribution of people with disabilities (PD) and the locations of special education facilities in Rembang Regency, Central Java, in order to identify gaps in educational accessibility. Data from the 2024 BPS shows disparities in the spread of PD across villages and sub-districts. Geospatial mapping was used to compare the concentration points of PD with the locations of special schools, including newly established ones like SLB Negeri Rembang and SLB Negeri Lasem. The results indicate areas with a high concentration of PD but significant traveling distances to the nearest educational facilities. The implications of this case study highlight the importance of data-based spatial policies in planning inclusive education services that are evenly distributed across Rembang.
