Abstract

The management of livestock production data in Central Java, which remains in static tabular form, hinders spatial analysis and identification of distribution disparities between regions. This study aims to develop a web-based Geographic Information System to map the distribution of poultry egg, livestock milk, and animal hide production by regency/city in Central Java for 2023-2024. The research method employs a quantitative approach by integrating spatial shapefile data of Central Java Province from lapakgis.com and non-spatial livestock production data from BPS Central Java. Data processing was conducted using Microsoft Excel, QGIS for mapping, and HTML and JavaScript for web platform development. The results show that Kendal Regency dominates poultry egg production with 234,618 tons in 2024, Boyolali Regency is the main center for milk production reaching nearly 40 million liters per year, while animal hide production demonstrates fluctuating dynamics with a production center shift from Rembang and Cilacap Regencies (2023) to Grobogan Regency (2024). Overall, poultry egg production increased from 889,860 tons (2023) to 901,995 tons (2024). This WebGIS platform successfully transforms complex data into interactive visualizations that support data-driven decision making for sustainable livestock sector optimization in Central Java.
