Sistem Informasi Geografis Tempat Peribadatan dan Data Pemeluk Agama di Kecamatan Semarang Barat

This study aims to analyze the distribution and level of suitability between the number of religious adherents and the availability of places of worship in West Semarang Regency. The main problem identified is the imbalance in the distribution of religious facilities in several areas. The method used is Geographic Information System (GIS) with stages of data collection, pre-processing, spatial analysis using QGIS, and implementation of results in the form of WebGIS. The data used is sourced from the Semarang City Statistics Agency in 2023 and spatial data on administrative areas. The results of the study show variations in the level of suitability between subdistricts, where some areas have religious facilities that are not yet proportional to the number of religious adherents. The developed WebGIS is capable of displaying spatial information interactively and in an easy-to-understand manner. This study is expected to support decision-making in the planning and development of fair places of worship.
