Abstract

The equitable distribution of health workers is a primary pillar in ensuring fair access to health services for the community. This study aims to map and analyze the spatial distribution of health workers across 14 Kemantren in Yogyakarta City in 2024 using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The research utilizes secondary observation data from the 2024 Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), including profiles of nurses, midwives, pharmacists, and other medical support personnel. A choropleth analysis method with value range classification was employed to determine human resource availability levels. Results reveal significant disparities, where peripheral areas like Umbulharjo (55 workers) and Tegalrejo (53 workers) occupy the "Very High" category, while city center areas such as Kraton (14 workers) and Pakualaman (16 workers) are "Very Low". This study recommends a proportional redistribution policy to minimize service gaps between Kemantren in Yogyakarta City.
