Abstract

This study aims to analyze and map the distribution of unemployment rates at the village level in Pegandon District. Unemployment is a socioeconomic issue that directly impacts the welfare of rural communities. The unemployment data used in this study is sourced from village-level employment statistics in Pegandon District. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis to determine differences in the number and level of unemployment between villages, and spatial analysis to illustrate the distribution patterns of areas with high, medium, and low unemployment. The results show that unemployment rates in Pegandon District are unevenly distributed, with some villages experiencing relatively higher unemployment rates than others. The results of this mapping are expected to serve as a basis for sub-district and village governments in formulating more targeted unemployment management policies
