Pemetaan dan Analisis Spasial Sarana Perdagangan di Provinsi Jawa Tengah Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis

Trading facilities play an important role in supporting economic activities and equitable regional development. Uneven distribution of trading facilities can lead to unequal access to economic services for the community. Central Java Province, with its diverse geographical characteristics and levels of economic development, requires a spatial-based study to comprehensively understand the distribution pattern of trading facilities. This study aims to map and spatially analyze the distribution of trading facilities in Central Java Province using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The research methods include data collection from the Central Statistics Agency, spatial data processing, and spatial analysis using GIS software. The results indicate that the distribution of trading facilities in Central Java Province is uneven and tends to be concentrated in areas with high population density and economic activity. GIS-based analysis provides clear visual and analytical information that can support regional development planning and policy formulation.
