Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Discipline and Work Environment on the Performance of Medical and Non-Medical Employees at Harapan Kita Heart and Blood Vessel Hospital, Adult Intermediate Surgery Unit, West Jakarta, both partially and simultaneously. The method used in this study is quantitative analysis with a population of 54 and a sample of 54 respondents and using the saturated sample method. And in collecting data, this study used a questionnaire distribution technique. The data analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient (r), determination coefficient (R square) and coefficient significance test (t Test and F Test). The results of the analysis show that there is a significant simultaneous influence on performance, where the results of the multiple linear regression equation Y = 6.590 + 0.224 X1 + 0.609 X2 are obtained. The results of the correlation coefficient (r) obtained an r value of 0.829. So if you look at the guidelines for interpreting the correlation coefficient (r) where the value is in the interval 0.800 - 1,000. This means that simultaneously work discipline and work environment have a Very Strong relationship with performance. The results of the determination coefficient (R square) obtained a value of 0.688. This proves that the magnitude of the influence of work discipline and work environment on performance is 68.8%, while the rest (100% - 68.8%) = 31.2% is influenced by other factors that are not studied. And from the results of the F Test, the Fcount value is obtained > Ftable or (56.248 > 3.178), and is strengthened by the Sig. value  <0.05 or (0.000 <0.05). "So the variable X1 (work discipline) and variable X2 (work environment) have a simultaneous and significant effect on the variable Y (performance).
