Pengaruh Self Control dan Self Esteem terhadap Perilaku Menyontek (Survey Terhadap Siswa Kelas XI – XII SMAN 2 Singaparna Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of self-control and self-esteem on cheating behavior. The research method used is a survey method with an explanatory design. The population in this study was grade XI – XII Social Studies students of SMAN 2 Singaparna totaling 268 students. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling technique and obtained 160 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis techniques using nomality tests, linearity tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, R2 coefficient of determination tests, T tests, and F tests. The results of this study show that 1) There is a negative and significant influence of Self control on cheating behavior significance value 0.000 < 0.05. 2) There is a negative and significant influence of self-esteem on class cheating behavior with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. 3) There is a negative and significant influence of self-control and self-esteem on cheating behavior with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.
