IMPLEMENTASI LEADER PROPHETIK PADA MASYARAKAT MADINAH DALAM PENGELOLAAN MANAJEMEN SEKOLAH

Abstract

The principal as the main leader in an educational institution has a strategic role in determining the success of the school through a good leadership style and in line with Islamic teachings. The objectives of this study are 1) Analyze the Prophet Muhammad's Strategy in Building the Medina Community 2) Assess the Relevance of the Prophet Muhammad's Leadership to School Leadership Management 3) Explore the Implementation of the Prophet Muhammad's Leadership to School Leadership Management. This study uses a qualitative research type in the form of library research. The data collection is through a literature review. The first discussion contains the Prophet Muhammad's strategy in Medina, namely building a mosque, brotherhood between the Anshor and Muhajirin, the Medina charter, and deliberation in making decisions. Second, the Prophet Muhammad's leadership strategy is still relevant today. And the final discussion, the implementation of the Prophet Muhammad's leadership strategy can be applied by practicing the four main characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad, namely shidiq, Amanah, tabligh, and fathonah. Therefore, the prophetic leadership model of the Prophet Muhammad SAW can be an ideal example in creating effective, harmonious school management based on Islamic values.
