Abstract

Mastery of the Indonesian language plays a crucial role in supporting the socio-economic development of the country. As the primary medium of instruction in education, a lack of proficiency in Indonesian can hinder access to education and impact economic development. Moreover, inadequate mastery of the language can also impede community participation in socio-economic development, particularly in accessing information, participating in decision-making, and securing job opportunities. However, Indonesian also serves as a communication tool facilitating dialogue among the government, development agencies, and society to achieve sustainable development. Therefore, enhancing understanding and proficiency in the Indonesian language among the population is essential to ensure more equitable participation and the success of national development.
