This study discusses the historical traces of the Protestant Church in Western Indonesia (GPIB) "Sumber Kasih" Congregation Bontang 2006-2025. This study aims to understand the early development of the Protestant Church in Western Indonesia (GPIB) "Sumber Kasih" Congregation Bontang, the dynamics of service in the Protestant Church in Western Indonesia (GPIB) "Sumber Kasih" Congregation Bontang, as well as the implications of the Protestant Church in Western Indonesia (GPIB) "Sumber Kasih" Congregation Bontang for the development of the social life of the congregation. This study is a type of qualitative research that aims to obtain data, both in the form of sentences, language, and behavior of research subjects observed by researchers using various scientific methods. The method used is a historical research method that aims to restore the past objectively and systematically by collecting, evaluating, analyzing sources to find valid data. If valid data has been obtained, then the data will be processed into conclusions. In this case, the object of research is the GPIB "Sumber Kasih" Congregation Bontang. Basically, this study aims to determine the social development of the GPIB "Sumber Kasih" Bontang Congregation and its implications for society.
