Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based Human Resource Development (HRD) information system at Yayasan Cinta Dhuafa using the Agile methodology with the Scrum framework. The foundation employs human resources with different work patterns, including office employees, boarding school teachers, Korps Mubaligh preachers, and volunteers. Different attendance-recording mechanisms result in fragmented data and require approximately 70 minutes to prepare the monthly attendance recapitulation manually. The system was developed iteratively through requirement identification, product backlog preparation, sprint planning, system development, product increment testing, sprint review, and improvements based on user feedback. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used for system design, while native PHP was used for implementation. The developed system integrates human resource data, work schedules, facial and location-based attendance, leave and permission requests, activity records, attendance recapitulation, and reporting into a centralized database. Black-box testing showed that the system’s main functions operated as expected. After implementation, the attendance recapitulation process required an average of 5 minutes, resulting in a 92.86% improvement in time efficiency. Therefore, the system can accommodate different work patterns and support more centralized, structured, and efficient human resource management.
