ANALISIS AKTIVASI SINGLE POLE AUTO RECLOSE (SPAR) PEMUTUS TENAGA BAY PENGHANTAR PONOROGO 1 SEBAGAI PENINGKATAN KEANDALAN SISTEM TENAGA LISTRIK DI GARDU INDUK 70 KV TRENGGALEK

This study analyzes the activation of Single-Pole Auto Reclose (SPAR) on the Ponorogo 1 feeder bay circuit breaker as an effort to improve the reliability of the power system at the 70 kV Trenggalek Substation. The research was conducted through data collection, literature study, object observation, interviews, installation and testing, and analysis of SPAR activation results. The activation was carried out by replacing the Three-Pole circuit breaker with a Single-Pole mechanism and resetting the Distance Relay, including Trip Output, Auto Reclose, and Breaker Mode. The test results showed that the Auto Reclose, final trip, 86 (lock out), and feeder protection functions of Ponorogo 1 Bay operated according to the specified standards. A lightning-induced disturbance on November 21, 2024 showed that the Ponorogo 1 Bay circuit breaker successfully performed a single-phase trip and reclose on phase R after 1 second, while Ponorogo 2 Bay, which still applied TPAR, performed a three-phase reclose after 2 seconds. The application of SPAR allowed the unaffected phases to remain connected, maintaining the continuity of power transmission. These results indicate that SPAR activation on the feeder bay can support improved power system reliability at the 70 kV Trenggalek Substation.
