Feed is the main component of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) farming because it directly affects growth, survival, and production cost. This study aimed to analyze the application of artificial feed on the growth rate and survival of whiteleg shrimp cultured intensively at PT Sumber Agro Sulawesi, West Sulawesi. The study was conducted from June to December 2025 in pond A1, stocked with 494,911 postlarvae. Data were collected through observation, active participation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, and analyzed descriptively and quantitatively, supported by a regression test (ANOVA). The parameters observed were Mean Body Weight (MBW), Average Daily Growth (ADG), Specific Growth Rate (SGR), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), and Survival Rate (SR). The feed contained 35% crude protein and was given four times a day, using blind feeding until day 35 and, thereafter, based on sampling results and feeding-tray (anco) monitoring. MBW increased from 2.72 g at day 35 to 23.09 g at day 91, then declined to 20.48 g at day 98. Period-based FCR ranged from 0.61 to 1.29. SR remained at 87% until day 70, then decreased to 79% (days 77–84), 54% (day 91), and 52% (day 98). ANOVA showed that MBW and SR did not simultaneously have a significant effect on SGR (F = 1.573; Sig. = 0.273). Controlled feeding supported growth during the early to middle culture phases, but the low final SR indicates that feed management must be accompanied by water quality control and other supporting factors.
