This study discusses the moral growth and social concern for students at SMP Islam Al-Madinah Tambak Rejo Jombang as well as the1role offIslamic ReligioussEducation (PAI) teachers in the process. Character education from an Islamic perspective is carried out consciously and systematically, referring to the Quran, Hadith, and ijtihad. Moral and social development is carried out by a variety of exercises, including congregational prayers, spiritual guidance, and social service aimed at shaping students with noble character, responsibility, and care for others. The study also identifies1supporting and inhibiting1factors in the1implementation1of theedevelopment. The results indicate that the commitment of PAI teachers, along with support from the school and parents, are key factors in the success of moral and social care development.
