PERAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN AL-QUR’AN HADITS (STUDI KASUS DI MTsN 9 JOMBANG)

This study aims to examine the role of information technology in the learning of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTsN 9 Jombang. The advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed education, including Islamic religious instruction. However, its implementation in Al-Qur’an Hadith learning remains limited, as traditional methods still dominate. Employing a qualitative field research approach, the study found that the use of digital tools such as laptops, projectors, audio media, and educational apps enhances students’ comprehension, fosters interactive learning, and increases motivation. Despite challenges like limited infrastructure and insufficient teacher training, the school is striving to improve its integration of technology through facility support and teacher development programs. The findings suggest that technology can serve as a strategic medium to strengthen religious learning when accompanied by teacher readiness, infrastructure support, and supportive policy. The study recommends the development of digital modules, technology-integrated pedagogy training, and contextual policies aligned with Islamic values.
