KENDALA DAN STRATEGI PENERAPAN QRIS PADA UMKM : WARUNG BAKSO MAS TIMBUL

Abstract

Penetration of digital payment systems through QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) is a strategic step in encouraging financial inclusion in Indonesia. However, its implementation in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, especially in areas with low literacy and use of digital payments, still faces various challenges. This study aims to identify the main obstacles faced by MSMEs in adopting QRIS and formulate appropriate strategies to improve its implementation. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques with MSMEs and banking/financial service providers in the relevant areas. The results of the study indicate that the main obstacles include limited digital infrastructure, low understanding of technology, and lack of public trust in non-cash payment systems. The proposed strategies include intensive education for MSMEs and consumers, active partnerships between the government and financial service providers, and the provision of incentives to accelerate QRIS adoption. This research is expected to contribute to more targeted policy-making in the development of digital payment systems in disadvantaged areas.
