Problem Based Learning Method, Learning Interest. Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject In the era of the new normal, there are various learning methods that can be applied to increase students' learning interest. One of these methods is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This approach is implemented through the formation of small study groups aimed at working on projects, experiments, and innovations. The objectives of this research are: (1) To describe the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning method at MA Al-Asy’ari Keras Jombang. (2) To describe the students' interest in learning at MA Al-Asy’ari Keras Jombang. (3) To describe the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning method in increasing students' interest in the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject at MA Al-Asy’ari Keras Jombang.The type of research is a case study. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation techniques, and documentation. The informants in this research include the principal, the vice principal of curriculum affairs, the Al-Qur’an Hadith teacher, and the students. The collected data from observations and interviews were analyzed using data source triangulation techniques.Thus the results of the study obtained that: (1) Implementation of the Problem Based Learning method at MA Al-Asyari Keras Jombang for the learning process, students are given real-world problems that are in accordance with the material, such as calculating the budget for school events, students are asked to solve religious and environmental problems, such as water pollution or recycling. (2) Students' interest in learning at MA Al-Asy'ari Keras Jombang has continued to grow over the years and includes various aspects including the following: knowledge, feelings, and actions. (3) Implementation of the Problem Based Learning method has proven effective in increasing students' interest in learning. Through this approach, students are invited to actively think critically, solve real problems, and work collaboratively.
