Penerapan metode mind mapping untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan islam di kelas IX Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso Jombang

This study aims to describe the implementation of the mind mapping method in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in class IX at MTs Nizhamiyah Ploso, Jombang. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the mind mapping method effectively enhanced students' learning outcomes across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Students became more active, creative, and better able to understand the subject matter through visually and systematically created concept maps. Although challenges such as time constraints and students' initial unfamiliarity with the technique were present, the application of mind mapping proved to foster an enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful learning experience. The study concludes that mind mapping is a strategic alternative method to improve learning outcomes in SKI subjects.
