One non-pharmacological intervention that can be used to help stabilize blood sugar is the Benson relaxation technique, which combines deep breathing relaxation with elements of belief or spirituality. This final nursing scientific paper aims to analyze the application of the Benson relaxation technique in an effort to stabilize blood glucose levels in patients with Diabetes Mellitus through a nursing care approach. The method used was a case study of a DM patient experiencing blood glucose instability, with the intervention carried out over 3 days, lasting 15–20 minutes per session. The evaluation results showed that after routine intervention, there was a reduction and stabilization of the patient's random blood glucose levels, as well as an increased sense of calm and relaxation. This reduction occurs because Benson relaxation can suppress sympathetic nervous system activity and reduce the production of cortisol, a hormone involved in gluconeogenesis. In conclusion, the Benson relaxation technique is effective as a complementary therapy in the management of Diabetes Mellitus patients. Menggunakan metode Studi Kasus Deskriptif Kualitatif yang didasarkan pada tinjauan literatur secara sistematis, penelitian ini bertujuan membongkar mitos "netralitas teknologi" yang sering dilekatkan pada instrumen otomasi evaluasi kandidat pekerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa arsitektur algoritma rekrutmen Amazon mengalami kegagalan komputasional dan etis akibat dilatih menggunakan data historis <em>Curriculum Vitae</em> (CV) selama 10 tahun yang secara dominan merepresentasikan kelompok laki-laki. Kondisi ini secara implisit memicu sistem pembelajaran mesin untuk mendegradasi proksi variabel yang berasosiasi dengan perempuan, mereplikasi ketimpangan gender struktural yang telah mengakar. Unmanaged pain can hinder early mobilization, the breastfeeding process, and slow the patient’s recovery. One non-pharmacological therapy that can be used to help reduce pain is acupressure. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of acupressure therapy in reducing pain intensity in post-cesarean section patients. This study employed a descriptive case study method using a nursing process approach on a post-cesarean section patient at ‘Aisyiyah Muntilan Hospital. The intervention consisted of acupressure therapy applied to the LI4 and P6 points on the hands and the SP6 point on the inner side of the foot for 15–20 minutes, administered in the morning and afternoon for two consecutive days. Evaluation was conducted using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Following the application of acupressure therapy, there was a reduction in pain intensity from a score of 6 to 5 on the first day and further decreased to a score of 3 on the second day. The application of acupressure techniques in post-cesarean section patients can help reduce pain intensity, enhance relaxation, and provide comfort during the recovery period. In social practice, the distribution of property during the owner’s lifetime is frequently used as an alternative mechanism to maintain family harmony and prevent future inheritance conflicts. This phenomenon is also found in the community of Sogaan Village, Pakuniran District, Probolinggo Regency, where hibah is practiced as a means of distributing assets before death. This study aims to analyze the practice of distributing assets prior to death and to examine it from the perspective of sadd al-dharī‘ah in Islamic law. The study employs an empirical juridical method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively and analytically. The findings reveal that the people of Sogaan Village regard hibah as an alternative method of property distribution to prevent disputes among heirs after the death of the parents. The practice is carried out through family deliberation and is based on considerations of benefit and the condition of each recipient. From the perspective of Islamic law, this practice is substantively more appropriate to be categorized as hibah rather than inheritance, since it is conducted while the property owner is still alive. The analysis based on the concept of sadd al-dharī‘ah shows that the practice may be understood as a preventive measure to close the possibility of mafsadah in the form of family conflict. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan produk kosmetik yang diduga mengandung merkuri sehingga diperlukan pengujian untuk menjamin keamanan produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi secara kualitatif kandungan merkuri pada sediaan kosmetik menggunakan metode reaksi warna dengan pereaksi Kalium Iodida (KI) 0,5 N. Sampel kosmetik FYC–Yessica's 6IN1 Crystal Glowing Cream With SPF 30 didestruksi menggunakan aqua regia, kemudian filtrat yang diperoleh direaksikan dengan larutan KI 0,5 N. Hasil positif ditandai dengan terbentuknya endapan merah jingga sebagai indikasi terbentuknya merkuri iodida (HgI₂). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah penambahan pereaksi KI 0,5 N, larutan sampel berwarna kuning bening hingga kuning pucat, tetap jernih, dan tidak terbentuk endapan merah jingga. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sampel memberikan hasil negatif terhadap kandungan merkuri secara kualitatif. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan metode reaksi warna yang digunakan, sampel kosmetik yang diuji tidak terindikasi mengandung merkuri sehingga relatif aman dari aspek kandungan logam berat tersebut. The method employed is a literature review with a thematic exegesis approach, using Al-Maraghi's tafsir to descriptively analyze related verses. The findings reveal spiritual values such as trust in Allah (tawakkal), sincerity (ikhlas), compassion (rahmah), and belief in Allah's promises, as well as key principles like divine communication, value transmission through exemplary behavior, integration of faith and action, and wisdom in decision-making. These values and principles are relevant for application in Islamic character education in the modern era to cultivate a generation with strong faith and character based on Islamic values. Health data is private and very sensitive information so it requires maximum protection from various threats, such as data leakage, unauthorized access, data manipulation, and cyber attacks. This article aims to examine the importance of the security and confidentiality of patient data in the electronic medical record system, identify threats that can occur, and explain various efforts that can be made to maintain the security of health information. This research uses the literature study method by analyzing various national and international journals, books, and regulations that apply in Indonesia. The average incidence of dysmenorrhea in young women is between 16.8-81%. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64%, consisting of 54.89% primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% secondary dysmenorrhea. One effective way to prevent dysmenorrhea is by doing physical activity such as exercise. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between physical activity and the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 5 Langsa City. This study is an analytic study with a cross-sectional nature. The population in this study were all adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 5 Langsa 186, the number of samples was 65 samples with the sampling technique carried out by Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that of the 65 respondents, the majority (37 respondents) had low levels of physical activity. The results of the study showed that the incidence of dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls was mostly moderate (26 respondents (40%), and the physical activity of adolescent girls was mostly in the low category (40 respondents (61.5%). There was a relationship between physical activity and the incidence of dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls with a p-value of </em><em>0.000 (p<0.05). The terminal's existing condition shows non-compliance with facility standards under Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 24 of 2021, in both main and supporting facilities. Public perception of terminal services also tends to be low, particularly in the aspects of comfort, information availability, and facility adequacy. This study aims to identify the existing condition of terminal facilities, analyze public perception of services, and formulate a service-development direction for Binaya Terminal. The study used a mixed-methods approach, combining field observation and regulatory review for qualitative analysis with a questionnaire distributed to 100 terminal-user respondents for quantitative analysis. Perception data were analyzed using a Likert scale and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) across 23 indicators within 6 aspects, while the development direction was formulated using quantitative SWOT analysis based on the IFAS–EFAS matrix. Results show that some main and supporting facilities are available but do not yet meet Type C terminal service standards. The IPA results placed 8 of 23 items in Quadrant I (top development priority), with the lowest suitability level (TKi) found in medical-room facilities (39.75%) and departure/arrival information systems (45.25%). The SWOT analysis produced coordinates (–0.26 ; +0.51), placing Binaya Terminal in Quadrant II of the SWOT diagram with a recommended Turn Around (WO) strategy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar asam salisilat dalam sampel bedak menggunakan metode alkalimetri serta membandingkan hasilnya dengan persyaratan yang ditetapkan oleh Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM). Metode yang digunakan adalah titrasi alkalimetri menggunakan larutan baku natrium hidroksida (NaOH) yang terlebih dahulu dibakukan dengan kalium biftalat (KHP), sedangkan titik akhir titrasi ditentukan menggunakan indikator fenolftalein. Sampel dilarutkan dalam etanol yang telah dinetralkan dan dititrasi hingga terjadi perubahan warna menjadi merah muda. Hasil pembakuan menunjukkan normalitas larutan NaOH sebesar 0,0816 N. Penetapan kadar asam salisilat pada sampel bedak menghasilkan kadar sebesar 3,067%, sehingga melebihi batas maksimum yang diizinkan BPOM untuk sediaan kosmetik, yaitu 2%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sampel belum memenuhi persyaratan keamanan. Perbedaan hasil dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti penetralan etanol yang kurang sempurna, kesalahan pembacaan buret, serta ketidaktepatan dalam menentukan titik akhir titrasi. Percobaan juga dilakukan terhadap larutan blanko sebagai pembanding. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa volume HCl yang digunakan pada sampel sebesar 10,3 mL, sedangkan pada blanko sebesar 12,6 mL. Selisih volume tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sebagian NaOH telah bereaksi dengan asetosal sehingga kadar zat aktif dapat ditentukan melalui perhitungan titrimetri. Titik akhir titrasi ditandai dengan perubahan warna larutan dari merah muda menjadi tidak berwarna. Ketepatan kadar asam salisilat perlu dikendalikan untuk menjamin mutu, keamanan, dan efektivitas produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kuantitatif asam salisilat pada sediaan bedak menggunakan metode titrasi alkalimetri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium yang diawali dengan pembakuan larutan natrium hidroksida (NaOH) menggunakan kalium hidrogen ftalat (KHP) sebagai baku primer, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penetapan kadar asam salisilat menggunakan indikator fenolftalein. Analisis dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali pengulangan (triplo). Hasil pembakuan menunjukkan bahwa larutan NaOH memiliki normalitas sebesar 0,1036 N. Volume NaOH yang digunakan pada tiga kali titrasi berturut-turut adalah 21,0 mL, 20,9 mL, dan 21,0 mL dengan volume rata-rata 20,97 mL. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh kadar asam salisilat sebesar 2,00%, sesuai dengan kadar yang tercantum pada etiket produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kadar asetosal dalam sediaan tablet menggunakan metode asidi-alkalimetri sebagai salah satu metode titrimetri yang sederhana, ekonomis, dan mudah diterapkan dalam laboratorium. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental laboratorium dengan prinsip titrasi balik (<em>back titration</em>), yaitu mereaksikan sampel asetosal dengan larutan natrium hidroksida (NaOH) berlebih, kemudian menentukan sisa basa melalui titrasi menggunakan larutan baku asam klorida (HCl). Data diperoleh dari pengamatan volume titran pada sampel dan blanko, kemudian dihitung untuk menentukan kadar asetosal berdasarkan prinsip stoikiometri reaksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volume HCl yang digunakan pada titrasi sampel sebesar 7,0 mL, sedangkan pada blanko sebesar 15,8 mL. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh kadar asetosal sebesar 158,54 mg atau setara dengan 379,43 mg per tablet. Nilai tersebut lebih tinggi dibandingkan kadar yang tertera pada etiket sehingga mengindikasikan adanya kemungkinan kesalahan analisis, seperti ketidaktepatan penimbangan sampel, pembacaan buret, pembakuan larutan standar, maupun penentuan titik akhir titrasi. Sampel dilarutkan dalam etanol yang telah dinetralkan, kemudian dititrasi menggunakan indikator fenolftalein hingga tercapai titik akhir yang ditandai dengan perubahan warna merah muda stabil. Hasil pembakuan menunjukkan normalitas larutan NaOH sebesar 0,0816 N, sedangkan penetapan kadar menghasilkan kadar asam salisilat sebesar 3,86%, lebih tinggi daripada batas maksimum yang ditetapkan BPOM untuk kosmetik, yaitu 2%. Perbedaan hasil diperkirakan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti penetralan etanol yang belum optimal, ketelitian dalam pembacaan buret, penentuan titik akhir titrasi, homogenitas sampel, serta kondisi larutan baku. Meskipun demikian, metode alkalimetri terbukti sederhana, ekonomis, dan mampu memberikan hasil analisis yang baik apabila seluruh prosedur dilakukan secara tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan skrining fitokimia terhadap ekstrak etanol 96% simplisia bulu babi hasil maserasi guna mengidentifikasi golongan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terkandung di dalamnya, meliputi alkaloid, saponin, tanin, steroid, terpenoid, dan senyawa fenolik. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%. Identifikasi golongan senyawa dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui reaksi warna dan pengendapan menggunakan pereaksi spesifik untuk masing-masing golongan senyawa. Hasil skrining fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol simplisia bulu babi memberikan hasil positif terhadap alkaloid, saponin, steroid, dan senyawa fenolik, sedangkan hasil negatif diperoleh pada uji tanin dan terpenoid. Keberadaan alkaloid dikonfirmasi melalui pembentukan endapan pada pereaksi Mayer dan Dragendorff, sedangkan pereaksi Wagner menunjukkan hasil negatif. Rumput laut merupakan komoditas perikanan bernilai ekonomis tinggi, dan mutu fisikokimia serta sensorinya menentukan kelayakannya untuk diolah lebih lanjut maupun memenuhi standar ekspor (Choudhary et al., 2023; Ghazali et al., 2024). Sampel rumput laut segar diambil langsung dari area budidaya di sepanjang pesisir Talawaan Bajo dan dianalisis secara deskriptif di laboratorium. Mutu organoleptik dinilai menggunakan metode uji skoring hedonik, di mana panelis menilai warna, aroma, tekstur, dan kenampakan umum, mengacu pada Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) mutu rumput laut (Julyasih & Parwata, 2022). Kadar air ditentukan secara gravimetri dengan pengeringan sampel pada suhu 105°C hingga diperoleh berat konstan, sedangkan kadar abu ditentukan melalui pengabuan kering menggunakan tanur pada suhu sekitar 550–600°C hingga terbentuk abu berwarna putih, mengikuti prosedur berbasis AOAC (Putnarubun et al., 2025; Choudhary et al., 2023). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sampel rumput laut memiliki skor organoleptik pada kisaran yang lazim untuk rumput laut segar bermutu baik, dengan aroma khas laut, tekstur kenyal dan cukup elastis, serta warna thalus kemerahan-kecokelatan. Kadar air berada pada kisaran yang umum dilaporkan untuk alga merah segar, sementara kadar abu mencerminkan kandungan mineral yang cukup tinggi, sejalan dengan nilai yang dilaporkan pada spesies Rhodophyta pesisir lainnya (Premarathna et al., 2022; Chowdhury et al., 2022). The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method was used to translate user needs into technical specifications of the machine. Ergonomic analysis was conducted using operator anthropometric data, while occupational safety aspects were analyzed using Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Economic feasibility was calculated based on product profit up to the product's selling price. The results of the study indicate that the quality control process is carried out through checking the condition of the packaging, labeling, sensory quality and product weight. The results show that in checking the condition of the packaging, PT XWZ uses Oriented Polypropylene (OPP) plastic packaging and there are no tears or openings. Labeling on the product includes the type of product, date, production and production code. Sensory quality checks include: color, aroma and texture and product grammage weight. The system uses an ESP32 as the controller for two continuous rotation servo motors on the conveyor and an ESP32-CAM as the waste detection device using the Faster Objects, More Objects (FOMO) model developed through Edge Impulse. The detection results control the sorting servo to separate organic and inorganic waste, while sorting data is sent in real-time to ThingSpeak via WiFi. Testing was conducted on six types of waste: cups, bottles, plastic bags, leaves, twigs, and banana peels, with each object tested 15 times. The detection success rates were 66%, 86%, 66%, 33%, 66%, and 33%, respectively, yielding an average detection success rate of 58%. Actuator testing showed that servo.write(85) produced a duty cycle of 6.9% and a speed of 68.1 RPM on the transport conveyor, while servo.write(75) produced a duty cycle of 6.4% and a speed of 74.0 RPM on the detection line conveyor. The sorting servo at servo.write(40) produced a 150° movement angle, suitable for directing organic waste. Manual monitoring systems are ineffective in detecting early signs of damage in real time, necessitating a more modern technological approach. This research aims to create a system that can automatically monitor the slope and subsidence of a bridge using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This system uses an MPU6050 gyro sensor to detect the slope, and an ESP8266 WIFI module for data processing and wireless transmission. Data from the sensor will be displayed directly in graphical form in web software, and is also equipped with a green indicator light for safe conditions, and red for damage. The test results show that the designed monitoring system is capable of detecting changes in slope and settlement on the bridge prototype in real-time. The MPU6050 sensor can read the slope angle well, where a safe condition is indicated by an angle value close to 0°, while an unsafe condition is detected when the slope angle exceeds ±5° or a settlement of ≥5 mm. The measurement data was successfully sent and displayed on the Adafruit IO platform, and the LED indicator system functions according to the bridge condition. The system utilizes a PT1000 temperature sensor to detect the heating plate temperature, a TTP223 touch sensor for fabric type selection, and an Arduino Nano as the main controller. Heating power regulation is carried out using an optocoupler and TRIAC circuit, while temperature and mode information are displayed on an OLED screen. Selain berfungsi sebagai metode pengawetan alami, fermentasi mandai juga meningkatkan nilai gizi dan potensi fungsional pangan, karena kandungan senyawa bioaktif seperti antioksidan, flavonoid, dan fenol yang terdapat dalam kulit cempedak dapat dipertahankan atau bahkan ditingkatkan selama proses fermentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara pembuatan mandai serta menganalisis perubahan yang terjadi selama proses fermentasi, meliputi aspek organoleptik (warna, aroma, rasa, dan tekstur) serta potensi manfaat kesehatannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial, menggunakan konsentrasi garam 15% dan lama fermentasi selama 7 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama fermentasi terjadi perubahan fisik dan kimia pada kulit cempedak, seperti pelunakan tekstur, perubahan warna menjadi pucat kekuningan, serta munculnya aroma asam yang khas akibat aktivitas BAL. Method: The type of research used is quantitative with a research design using a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were 98 breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Murni Teguh Hospital and the number of samples was 32 respondents. In the appetite variable, primary data was collected using the SNAQ (Simplified Nutritional Appetite Questionnaire) questionnaire and for measuring stress levels in this study using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). The statistical test used was the Spearman Rho correlation test. Results: There is a significant relationship between appetite and stress levels in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Murni Teguh Hospital with a correlation coefficient of -0.497 indicating a moderate negative relationship between the two variables. The significance value (p-value) is 0.004 (p <0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between appetite and stress levels in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Murni Teguh Hospital. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was developed using Laravel 11, PHP, MySQL as the database management system, and Visual Studio Code as the development environment. This study aims to detect the presence and concentration of Fecal Coliform bacteria in the Asam River flow (Watershed) of Jambi City using the MPN (Most Probable Number) method. Water samples were taken from three different locations: upstream (Lingkar Selatan Street, Talang Gulo Village), middle (Sunan Derajat Street, Suka Karya Village), and downstream (Orang Kayo Hitam Village, Pasar Jambi District). The testing was conducted through the presumptive phase using LSB (Lauryl Sulfate Broth) media and the confirmed phase using EC Broth media, followed by MPN value calculation based on the MPN index table. The results showed that all samples were positive for Fecal Coliform with very high concentrations: upstream 2.8 x 10³ MPN/100 ml, middle 4.6 x 10³ MPN/100 ml, and downstream 4.9 x 10³ MPN/100 ml. All three values far exceed the quality standards set in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021 for class I water (100 MPN/100 ml). The highest concentration was found in the downstream section, indicating accumulation of pollution from domestic activities and poor sanitation along the river flow. Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sibela di Kecamatan Jebres menjadi salah satu daerah dengan kasus DBD tinggi, yaitu sebanyak 53 kasus, yang diduga berkaitan dengan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat dalam pencegahan DBD. Tujuan Mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku pencegahan penyakit DBD pada masyarakat di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sibela Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 82 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik <em>accidental sampling</em>. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku pencegahan DBD. Sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kurang baik (59,8%), sikap dalam kategori cukup baik (40,2%), dan perilaku pencegahan DBD dalam kategori kurang baik (63,4%). Objective: To determine the relationship between community knowledge and attitudes and rabies prevention efforts in Passo Village. Method: An analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The sample comprised 77 dog-owning heads of households selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected door-to-door using structured questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square test (a=0,05). Result: Most respondent had god knowledge (70,1%) and moderate attitudes (70,1%), yet over 68% executed prevention inappropriately. The Chi-Square test showed no significant relationship between knowledge and prevention efforts (p-value = 0,928). Conversely, attitudes significantly correlated with prevention efforts with moderate strength (p-value = 0,007; r = 0,305). Respondent with positive attitudes exhibited higher compliance with standard procedures (55,0%) than those with poor and moderate attitudes (22,8%). Conclusion: Community attitudes hold a more vital role than raw knowledge levels in shaping rabies prevention behavior, highlighting a notable knowledge-practice gap. The results of this design development prove that a communication approach aligned with current youth trends can increase student engagement in comprehending various difficult literature. In addition to providing significant time efficiency, this platform also plays an important role in strengthening literacy through more enjoyable and less tedious means. In conclusion, the synergy between advanced visual technology and the adaptation of a communicative language style is a crucial strategy in creating inclusive digital educational media for the future of education in Indonesia. A non-drug approach that may support better rest is the combined use of breathing exercises and lemongrass aromatherapy. This case study set out to describe sleep patterns among elderly diabetic individuals before and after receiving this combined intervention. The exploratory case study involved two older subjects residing in Sumberporong Village, Lawang Subdistrict, carried out between 21 and 28 April 2026. Sleep condition was assessed with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), while adherence to the intervention was tracked through an observation checklist. Findings revealed that, prior to treatment, Subject 1 recorded a PSQI value of 9 and Subject 2 a value of 8, both falling into the poor-sleep category. Across five consecutive days, participants performed slow breathing exercises (5–10 repetitions per session) together with 10–15 minutes of inhaled lemongrass aromatherapy; observation scores rose from 21 to 30 for Subject 1 and from 18 to 28 for Subject 2. Following the intervention period, PSQI values fell to 6 for Subject 1 and 7 for Subject 2, marking reductions of three and one points respectively.
