The development of financial technology has transformed students’ financial behavior through easier access to digital wallets, mobile banking, qris, online payments, digital investment platforms, and paylater services. These conveniences provide benefits by accelerating transactions and expanding financial access, but they may also encourage consumptive behavior, impulsive buying, and weak spending control when not balanced with adequate financial literacy. This study aims to synthesize previous research findings on the relationship between Financial literacy and students’ financial behavior in the financial technology era, identify the factors influencing students’ financial behavior, and analyze the role of financial technology in strengthening or weakening financial behavior. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review approach using secondary data from relevant scientific articles published in Scopus Q1–Q4 journals. Data were collected through literature documentation and analyzed using descriptive-qualitative analysis, content analysis, and thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that Financial literacy plays an important role in shaping students’ ability to manage finances, set financial priorities, control spending, save money, and make rational financial decisions. However, students’ financial behavior is also influenced by self-control, locus of control, financial self-efficacy, lifestyle, trust, financial inclusion, and the use of fintech services. This article contributes to mapping the conceptual relationship between financial literacy, students’ financial behavior, and financial technology as a basis for strengthening digital Financial literacy in higher education.
