Abstract

Education personnel have a strategic role in supporting the implementation of quality education through administrative, management, and other technical support services. However, challenges in the form of low integrity, discipline, and work spirit are still factors that can affect the quality of education services. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the ethics of education personnel based on Islamic values. This study aims to analyze Islamic honesty, discipline, and work ethic as a pillar of ethics of education personnel and explain their contribution to professionalism and quality of educational services. The research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. Data was obtained from various literature sources, including scientific articles, books, laws and regulations, and Islamic sources relevant to the research topic. Data analysis is carried out through content analysis techniques with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that honesty functions as the basis of integrity and trust in educational services, discipline is a form of professionalism and responsibility in the implementation of duties, while Islamic work ethic provides a spiritual foundation that encourages education personnel to work in a trustworthy, sincere, and service-oriented manner. The integration of these three values forms the ethics of education personnel who are able to improve the quality of service, strengthen the work culture of the organization, and support the realization of professional and noble educational human resources. The findings of this study provide an implication that strengthening Islamic values in the work culture of educational institutions needs to be developed as an effort to improve the quality of service and build public trust in educational institutions.
