Edukasi Stop Bullying Sebagai Upaya Menciptakan Lingkungan Sekolah Yang Aman dan Ramah Anak di SDN 02 Dompu

Abstract

Bullying is one of the problems that can affect students’ sense of safety, comfort, and social relationships in the school environment. Limited understanding of bullying may cause harmful behaviors toward others to be perceived as normal or merely as jokes. The “Stop Bullying” educational activity was conducted as an effort to improve students’ understanding and awareness of the definition, forms, impacts, prevention, and appropriate responses to bullying behavior. The activity was conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at SDN 02 Dompu, involving more than 100 fifth- and sixth-grade students. The activity used an educational and participatory approach through PowerPoint presentations, direct explanations, question-and-answer sessions, and simple discussions with the students. Students were given opportunities to express their opinions and share their knowledge or experiences related to bullying. As a form of participation and collective commitment to preventing bullying, students also participated in a handprint activity using watercolor paint on a “Stop Bullying” banner. The results showed that students were able to understand the definition and several forms of bullying, recognize its potential impacts on victims and friendships, and understand the importance of speaking up and reporting bullying incidents to teachers, parents, or trusted adults. The educational activity contributed to improving students’ awareness of the importance of respecting others and maintaining positive friendships. The implication of this activity is that bullying education should be carried out continuously by involving students, teachers, and parents to support the creation of a safe, comfortable, child-friendly, and bullying-free school environment.
